Pools by Jordan, Largo FL

My experience with Pools by Jordan was fantastic. Jordans creative design and attention to detail really made our pool stand out. The team's professionalism and dedication were evident throughout the project. I highly recommend Pools by Jordan.

Worst experience ever. 2 years after building our pool we are still dealing with multiple pool leaks and other repairs we have had to pay out of pocket because Pools by Jordan has not been responsive.

During construction there was no real project manager and we were bounced around to multiple people. No one answered our calls. They built the spa incorrectly and we had to point it out only to have them demo the spa and rebuild it with the correct plans. The piping was installed incorrectly and only discovered after the deck tile was laid SO we they had to rip all the tile back up to make the repair and when putting it back down it was rushed and not perfectly even. The spa light went out a year after install and cost us $500 to replace. One of the pool leaks will require the entire pool to be drained and refilled which is expensive. We paid for all of these repairs out of pocket because we gave up calling Pools by Jordan because they refused to call us back and make it right.

We've spent so much money on a this "premium" pool but it has been nothing but issues since day 1 and I never felt like I had an advocate in the project. If I called Jordan he would always say "the right thing" and that "he would take care of it" but it was just done in a rushed manor and no one ever seemed to take our project seriously.

The promised timeline didn't come close to "on time" and delayed our move in date with our pool. The way I would sum up Jordan is "over promise, under deliver". I know there are always potential issues with contractors but I've never experienced any company with this bad of quality or customer service.

I worked with PBJ during covid when things were very tight. There were delays due to issues with the supply chain but overall they were great. We had a large pool and hot tub built, as well as large deck, even with the supply chain delays it was still complete in under 5 months from the time they broke ground.
Jordan was involved as well and helped ensure any issues were dealt with quickly and was terrific to deal with, coming on site with his project managers too.
From doing many redesigns for us to begin with, to permiting and the build they were good to deal with and I'd use them again.

Pools By Jordan did a wonderful job with designing and building our swimming pool. Our family and friends consistently comment on the pool design and how much fun they have when visiting.

I needed assistance with my pool and reached out to Jordan. While not an area of service he provides he took the time to explain my issue and his recommendation was extremely helpful. He demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and customer care, important qualities when selecting a pool contractor.

Prior review 2 yrs ago:
Called for an estimate in on a new pool installation. Spoke to Austin. We discussed what information he needed from me, etc.they sent an email as I was told they would do with a list of questions and any pictures to assist in designing a pool. I answered their questions and sent the documents they requested including drawing and pictures back to them on 2 separate emails on 2 separate occasions to ensure they went through.

Also printed all the information and dropped it off at the office about a week later just to ensure they got the requests.

After Review:
Owner reached out on 2 separate occasions to address above issues. We had picked another company by then, but appreciate the follow up and attempts at reconciliation hence change in review status as above.

Jordan was great to work with on an extensive renovation to our backyard. He understood our vision, had great ideas on some enhancements, and completed on stated schedule, which is very hard to find!

All of these reviews must be paid or fake. Most Fl pool owners, including myself, have been ripped off by “Pools By Jordan, ” or Modern Pools or any of the other 9 FL business license names. We paid $142k for our pool, and after months of no progress, was asked for a payment to put in the tile. We paid another several thousand, only to then get asked for the final payment to put in the pool cage. We never got the $30k Pool Cage, the $3k WiFi Controller and now have to fight two liens against our home because Jordan failed to pay the tile and electrical contractors.

Dealing with this situation has been hard. Hope this serves as a warning to others to not get fooled by any Pool business tied to Jordan Hidalgo. Jordan will make every promise under the sun, but all he is trying to do, is fool you to collect money to use for his own fraudulent purposes.

We have been in our Pools By Jordan Pool about 15 months. This is our first pool. We love it.
We had some challenges during and after construction. Pools by Jordan has addressed each challenge and resolved them to our satisfaction. We called them about 3 months ago about a deck problem and they were responsive and corrected our deck issue. Our pool was started in late November of '21. Remember the Coocvid problems? We were swimming in March. Very pleased.
Design thru completion they kept us involved.

My experience with Pools By Jordan was world class. Jordan and his team did a fantastic job transforming my backyard into a peaceful place. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to install a pool!

We found them by driving by on vacation and stopped in and talked to Suzanne. She was great through the whole experience and made us feel good about not being in town while the pool was built at our second home. Took about 2 months for them to build it. A+ overall happy to recommend.

Called several times. Voice mail greeting doesn't tell you who you are calling. Never returned my call. Not professional, not responsive.

It’s honestly embarrassing how bad these guys are. I still can’t tell if they’re scammers or just awful at building pools. I can’t get anyone, including the owner, Jordan, to answer phone calls, text messages, emails. I’ve even sent certified mail and get no response. We signed a contract in June of 2022, they didn’t start until December 2022, now here we are, over 4 months since these clowns started, it’s still not done, and week after week goes by without any word from them. Oh yeah, and they haven’t paid their subcontractors so they are trying to put liens on my home. At least one lien so far, who knows how many more will come in the mail. Stay away from this guy, and all of his companies.

Pools by Jordan did a great job on our pool! We got quotes from 4 other contractors, but Jordan was the only one who reversed the design process. Instead of the builder coming out and guessing about what we might like, we went to Jordan's office and spent an hour actually doing the design/layout with him. Everything was completely custom, and built to our preferences. The few issues that we had during the building process were always handled/corrected to our satisfaction.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience with Jordan and his company, Pools by Jordan. We demolished our home and built a brand new home here on the lot. We dealt with dozens of contractors as part of that job (including pool design and installation). Of all those vendors and contractors, Jordan was by far the best, most reliable, most respectful, "no-surprises" vendor of them all. We highly recommend Pools by Jordan! Our pool has brought us a lot of joy and it's a major contributor to the elegance and fun of our property!

Jordan and his crew made his crew did a wonderful job with my backyard. Every single person is looking at my pool is asking me who did it!
Jordan was also very patient with me and my husband… we change our mind 100 times!
