Pop Stansell Park reviews
14Conveniently located in Palm harbor. The pier is old and in need of some TLC. Nice place to launch a kayak.
Nice little park with picnic tables in shelters. Good playground for the kids. The boat launch area seems a bit unkept and the pier is need of some repairs.
A good park stop with something for everyone. Medium size collection of playground equipment, some you need to watch the kids one, the slides are tall. Easily accessible bathrooms. Green space, shade and pathways. There is a decent beach area with crabs galore and a fishing pier you can also boat too. There is a paddle board rental onsite and an easy spot to launch your kayak from.
In the summer there are fishing, kayak and paddleboars camps help here through the Palm Harbor CSA.
Would love if the equipment was upgraded and the fireants controlled.
Beautiful park on the bayou, nice place to launch kayaks in shallow water. Pier available, patrolled by local sheriff. Saw man be ticketed for having motorized vehicle beyond the line. Used by local kayak tour companies. Porpoises, pelicans, charming!
Nice park for kids. Lots of swings, slides, and things to climb. You can even rent a paddle board here.
Nice playground for the kids! Small and clean great for kid parties. This park has paddle boards for rent and boating deck.
You can no longer launch your boat there they put up big barriers to where you can't even drive your vehicle to where we used to go fishing from the dock
Great place for grandpa to take a grandson (2 yr), probably interesting for children up to ten years. One block off Pinellas Trail, so convenient for bicycle access.
Cool place to put in a kayak or fish, but the park itself is quieter small and the playground is too. I'd be interested to see who performs on the cool stage!
Awesome place to go paddle boarding canoeing and kayaking. We saw several PODS of dolphins around the islands.
Good location to launch a paddle board or kayak into the bay. PADL just put down one of its self-service paddle board rental stations in the park so no need to BYOB (bring your own board).
Beautiful little playground for kids of most ages. You can go out by the water and walk on a dock with a Beautiful view. My daughter loved the giant red slide.
Great size playground for kids and nice pier to fish off of. It could probably use some more parking but other than that It's a wonderful park.
Very clean park, the area to load up the kayaks nice, now that no motorized equipment are not allowed, not so crowded anymore trying to get into water.
