From one curly hair girl to another I know the fear of trusting anybody with your hair. And that fear hinders us from taking care of our hair because of it. This place is the ONLY salon I will ever return to and officially take my journey with of taking care of my hair! It’s my first curly cut ever and my appointment was with Brenda herself, and exceeded my expectations isn’t even the word to describe the experience! I was so comfortable in the environment and Brenda was so patient explaining to things in a way I truly understand for the future hair care of my hair! I’m so excited to start this journey and can’t thank her and her team enough!

Back story, I've been growing out my 2b/2c hair for over a year mostly using YouTube as my guide. But, it was time for a cut and professional help. Enter Amber, a miracle worker disguised as a stylist.

I had a curly transformation cut and style, and incredible customer education. Plus, the secretary (I can't remember her name) was so nice, and even made me a delicious iced coffee!

I felt the price was phenomenal for the level of service and education I received. If you have curly hair, do not sleep on Poppin Curls!

Amber always kills it love my hair transformation. She takes her time, care and love into what she does. And it shows def recommend.

I stopped loving my curls when my hair started thinning and I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia (most noticeable around my temples) about 10 years ago. I stopped caring for or caring about my hair and would routinely slick it back in a ponytail or bun. She turned my hair from a dry, lifeless, stringy, mess into a head full of soft, healthy, bouncy curls! And the way she styled it, the thinning areas are barely noticeable. This is definitely my go-to hair salon from here on out! So happy there is a salon in this area that caters to curly hair!
