Port Cove RV Resort and Marina, Georgetown FL

We stayed for the month of January 2024. We had a blast. The staff was great. The pool got a lot of use by most guests. The park was kept up nicely. Every weekend there was a food truck or some kind of food brought in for purchase. This was a great gathering time for guest too. Added a photo of one event. We are full-timers and will be back when in the area.

We have spent the last month at this resort and we loved it. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating. We highly recommend the place to spend time and relax. Very quiet. You can fish right off the wharf. Great boating facility. All the campers we met were wonderful. The pool is great and heated as well. Going to miss this great spot. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

I booked a site for a week at Port Cove Resort after a posting on Facebook. The owner "joanna" I don't have the correct spelling for her name. She reached out to me and helped me reserve my site. She booked me a nice quiet spot. Thank you. We went to the New Years party that was catered by a food truck. Unfortunately, I was coming down with a sinus infection, and the weather turned cold. Heather in the office and her family was very nice and helpful. If you want a nice camping trip, reach out to this resort.

BOATERS BEWARE! -my ONLY OBSESSION WITH PORT COVE is that the owners John & Joanna are well into the process of STEALING!
my old 28' Larsen Cabrio cabin cruiser that was in their marina! They begged me to sell it to them! The contract that John wrote states they will pay me $26,500.for cabin cruiser. They paid $2650, and refuse to pay another cent! (When you see the Larsen, give it wide birth! All real sailors know a stolen boat brings NOBODY ANY GOOD) - (AND SHOULD YOU RENT IT, I CAN ALMOST ASSURE YOU OF NO GOOD.) could the same thing happen to YOUR BOAT THAT IS IN THEIR MARINA?

park is poorly designed! Gravel sites are not angeled, making backing into them extremely difficult! - also, many sites will require 2-3 sewer hoses, & or, water hoses, & or, electric cords! (Who has?) - I've also seen large rigs bogged down in the soft gravel, & have to get towed out with campgrounds' bobcat! - (at what damage to the rig?)

& LOUD, SCREAMING KIDS? - (-i know it was us, at one time.but if I had my druthers). Oh well! (LOOK AROUND! - PLACE IS BECOMING A KIDDIE PLAYGROUND!) - (OWNERS' SON MAY BE THE WORST.) ? -certainly not a choice for peace & quite that many of us seniors desire!

Also, when making a reservation, you might ask if any of their associates have ever been in prison! - AND IF YES! -would you want your equipment there? - or your loved ones?
Nightly rates are comparable to Miami rates! (That's where owners live, & are from/ MIAMI CUBANS!) -all for an inferior campground. $55. / nite for tiny site, with gravel & a few weeds? -GET REAL.

MY ADVICE? -seek alternative campgrounds! - both owners are known to tell lies & change facts or "rules on a whim"! -AND! - APPARENTLY, HAVE NO QUALMS ABOUT STEALING A BOAT-that was in their care, in their marina! - (THINK ABOUT THAT!) - they're looking for RV s & boats to add to their rentals- WARNING.

Take notice! - in their rebuttal they present nothing but an empty bag of air! -LIES! -& B. S! -but NONE OF IT ADDRESSES MY LISTED PROBLEMS! - ANY IDEA WHY?

One of the best places in the United States that I've stayed at. Very quiet. Off the beaten path and on the water. The pool is amazing its very clean. And the folks that run the place are amazing hard working people. The owners are amazing and really go out of their way to make their guests comfortable and ensure all are having a good time. This is a peice of Florida paradise

If you have a big 44 foot fifth wheel or coach
Please don’t waste your time making reservations here we had made reservations long time ago to spend the winter in Florida and when we got there, the onsite manager told us that there is NO WAY we could fit in any of their lots the person who makes reservations don’t know what kind of lots they have oh by the way the lady at the campground was nice and she is NOT the one that makes reservations.
My Husband and I were so mad because every campground was full we are from Texas came here to Florida to stay the hole winter we had to sit for hours so we can call every Rv campground to see if they have openings after couple hours
We got lucky and found a beautiful place. BUT WHAT IF WE DINT FIND ANYTHING? BECAUSE OF THE LADY THAT MAKES RESERVATIONS

Port Cover RV Resort is now my families favorite location on the St Johns. They hosted my family in one of their RV rentals over the Thanksgiving Weekend. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The location perfect. My mother could not stop raving about the fact that she opened the front door of her RV and it was looking out over the water and dock's every morning. My sister sat on the dock and watched the sun rise every morning.
It was quiet, peaceful and the perfect location to visit with family. The RV was very clean and very modern. A nice seating location to look out over the water and complimentary firewood and propane provided for out door entertainment and grilling. The on-site manager made sure to check in with my family to see if they needed anything and the garbage was picked up daily.
My family will be back when the weather warms up and of course have requested that this be their landing spot.
Thank you to all the staff for making my family's holiday that much more special.

Stayed here for the first time over Thanksgiving. This place is great, very quiet and laid back. Staff was very nice and the check in/out was flawless. Definitely will be back.

Our new favorite spot on the St. John's River! Friendly people, beautiful views of the river, clean rest rooms, great facilities. We were there for the fall festival - so much fun and so well done! We will be back again, but would love to come for more of the special events because the caring owners really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is having fun. Thank you Port Cove.

Brief camping trip to Port Cove. It's a really nice campground on the water. Really enjoyed my morning coffee in you chairs on the water. It's super clean and the staff is wonderful. In fact, I just booked another stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Port Cove RV Resort! The staff was friendly and helpful, and the facilities were well-maintained and clean. The campsites were spacious and had everything we needed, and there were plenty of activities and amenities available. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun camping experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Port Cove Resort and Marina! We were in town for a wedding near by and PCR was the perfect location for the duration of our stay. We were within a short walking distance to the restaurant where some of the pre-nuptial activities were held and the boat dock was perfect for our water ride to pick us up and take us other events. The campground was very well maintained, the bathroom/shower house was immaculate, and Heather & Michael were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We even enjoyed nine holes of mini-golf while we had a little extra time waiting to rendezvous with our friends.

We spend a nice weekend there. Right by lake George and not far from Glenn springs. Will be back!

Highly recommended! Great facilities, entertainment, RV are super clean and have everything that you need. The docks are new and boats fix perfect. The owner is amazing and always respond quickly. Near of Restaurants, supermarket and the springs.
