Port Hudson Marina LLC reviews
19Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Boat was in great shape and very comfortable. This would be my first choice in renting a boat in the Hudson area! Thanks so much for a wonderful day on the water!
Rude went in to rent a boat the man at the counter was very short handed us a paper with list of prices acted like he dis not want to be bothered!
Total rip off. Don't use. If you are 1 min late they will still charge you 300 bucks. If you offer to rent another boat which early covers 300 bucks
They still say screw you. Charge you, and will.let you reserve the next the next boat and will them again tell you too bad so sad your dad.
The staff was friendly. The boats were perfect not one problem at all. Had a great day on the water.
My husband celebrated his 50th birthday this weekend. We had a wonderful day on the water. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they take their time to explain things to newbies like me. We can't wait to plan our next excursion!
Don't use port Hudson marina. If you are 5 min late you still get charged $300+ even if you try to rent a boat again. Much better treatment from Windsong and the other local rental places.
Rent today pontoon boat did some fishing friendly staff nice equipment in there a couple times
I keep my boat here and love the place. Marina is nice and the staff is on point and likable.
This place is bar none the best boat rental I have ever experienced. The staff is courteous, the boat was in good running order, the boat performed as expected, guidance was provided to make our day on the water a great one. I highly recommend this boat rental!
Clean rental fleet. All the way essential for hitting the water. Would recommend checking them out
Our first time renting a boat and it was very pleasant. They were very informative and attentive. Boat ran good, it was nice and clean. Very good price as well. We will be back again!
Rented an overpriced deck boat, the nav and depth finder did not work. Over paid for gas (60$) and sunblock (12$). The prop had a dent before our day out. When we returned, the deck boi (who didn't lift one finger to help load or un load the boat) said we hit bottom. The old man at the desk said "Don't you go anywhere" to me, like I'm going to run.lol. Then the old man tells me I am getting charged 80$ for a prop recondition fee. Which makes me wonder why the prop wasn't reconditioned before we got in the boat, and if the prior clients were charged a fee as well. Shady, to say the least. I have no problem paying for a nice afternoon on the water, but expect to be treated better. I will not be returning to this marina, and will not be recommending it to any of my family or friends.
Great marina, super friendly, helpful, Ralph, Pat, Erik, Joe, etc all great. Highly recommend.
We have our sailboat here and its a nice marina. They come out daily hosing off the docks, and they are very friendly. Just outside the marina gate is a nice restaurant to get good grub.
The most beautifulest place on earth in Hudson.
When you need a break from the world, sit down her feel the fresh, non stale air of the smell of the water, it always puts my mind at ease, before work.
Port Harbor Marina Thank you for making it Beautiful.
This is pretty much a fisherman's marina with a lot of shrimp boats and working fishing boats as well as crab traps. There is a seafood market on the way that says they have fresh fish and crab.
Well managed good security excellent place to store your boat R V etc. Very competent management personnel.
Rented a boat from them. They told us to go out and head 210 degrees and come home 30 degrees. If you have any problems, and there is no cell service you can get us on the vhf radio. Well after getting out of the channel, we noticed, there was no compass on the boat. Lol also no vhf radio! The motor didn’t run properly but they told us, the prop is pitched wrong. There’s a 15 on there and it should have a 17. ” When we reported the issues with the manger, he told us. A lot of people make stuff up to get a discount! ️
Seven of us rented a deck boat a few days ago. We left the Marina and headed out toward deeper water.
As we tried to increase our speed, the boat would not go past 11 mph. We called the Marina and he told us, despite the boat saying it could hold ten, our seven was probably too many. He told us it was a new boat and that we could get our money back. We told him we would just accept it was our too many people that was the issue and go slow.
We stopped at an island for a while then left to head toward a sandbar. We were putting along and all of a sudden the boat came to life and we were at 28 mph. We were elated.
We stopped at the sandbar for a while then went to leave. Back to 11 mph. All. The. Way. Back.
We told the man who met us at the dock. He said the boat was new and needed to work the kinks out. We went into the office and spoke to the man we talked to on the phone earlier. He insisted there was nothing wrong with the boat and it was our fault foe having seven on the boat. We told him that if that were true, the boat wouldn’t have suddenly come to life as we were cruising along.
Another man in our party tried to reason with him, saying he was a sea captain for many years and that he knew his way around boats. Suddenly the man behind the counter tried telling our guy it was a bad prop and that they were changing it. Once again, our man told him if that were the case, the boat wouldn’t have suddenly come to life.
We were willing to accept the defect when we thought it was our fault, but one the boat righted itself for a while then went back to broken, it was clearly evident that it was NOT us.
Further, the boat burned over $70 with of gas — and we didn’t run it that long! I think it was the engine working so hard.
I definitely do NOT recommend doing business with this organization.
