We drove two hours to get here and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm so glad we did! If you're looking for somewhere that has a very calm feeling to it, that you can walk through at your own pace, and that you can see many different varieties of plants and flowers, then you have found it here. The concrete paths wind through the property, giving a feel that's a bit like you're hidden away from the hustle and bustle. Along with the flowers and plants we saw several types of birds, some squirrels, and even a bunny! I highly recommend going when the pavilion is open. The gift shop and the bathrooms are in the pavilion, as is a place to buy a bottle of water, or to fill your own. Lastly, I can't give a complete review without mentioning the wonderful volunteers that staff the place. They are absolutely amazing! Do go here if you are able. You will love it!

I have four stars because.it's a beautiful place and there is so many different things to look at I've seen things that I have never seen before. But the map of port st. Lucie botanical garden is so confusing I didn't understand it also they have a area in Port St. Lucie botanical garden that was closed but it was opened every day but the lady said the person who opens it didn't show up for work.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place, they have everything! It's perfect for all ages and it's free admission! Great for anyone who's interested in flowers! They also sell various types of plants:)

Lovely! The volunteers did a great job of creating this beautiful garden. Great for kids as it's small enough to keep their attention. Will be back for sure!

Beautiful garden has a place where you can buy plants, beautiful rubber trees by river. It also has a cactus and orchid garden. Beautiful scenery for weddings, has a gift shop and a place for parties.

The walk is beautiful. And with all the stuff the city has planned for this area, it is going to be even more amazing!

Pleasant place to visit. People working and volunteering are most helpful. I'm used to Fairchild Gardens in Miami-Dade and this will never measure up. It's small. Plants are largely unnamed. Seems visitors take the labels and so you don't really know the name of the specimine you like. They have many native plants.

Beautiful little garden, a real gem of a place. There was a lot of construction imposing on the natural beauty, but it looks like when the construction is done, the park will be even lovelier. We enjoyed the butterfly garden, the fragrant sweet almond tree blooms and the Bromeliad island. The orchid garden was also in bloom. A kite made its nest high in a dead tree on the border of the park that runs alongside St. Lucie River. Lovely couple of hours spent!

We went to a wedding here. It was beautiful. It ended up raining so they had to move the ceremony under the overhang but it was flawless.

Very easy to enjoy the time with all the plants and flowers. People are amazingly helpful! There are cultivated plants for sale outside and a shop inside.

Beautiful little local garden! Enjoyed spending time wandering through the different sections. Nothing we expected from a garden in the middle of town. Looking forward to many more afternoons in our backyard gardens.:)

It's a gorgeous place with a myriad of plants. You can plan birthdays and weddings. There are also memberships that get you discounts during paid events and on most gift shop items. Admissions are through recommended donations of $5 just like a Museum. It's definitely an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

No charge. Donations accepted. Nice place to chill and walk around peacefully, and for the free charge, you have to give it 5 stars.

A nice, fairly small botanical garden with a wide variety of species including orchids, cacti, bamboo, roses, and many others. It is staffed and maintained by volunteers, and admission is by donation. I would have liked to see more signage describing the various species, and their habitats, etc.

Lovely gardens and park. Admission is essentially free, but donation is expected. My teenage children and friends took tons of pictures.
