John and his crew are AMAZING! We had car trouble while traveling and no one else was opened or available to help. John and Travis worked all night on a Sunday to get us safely back on the road and it didn't cost an arm and a leg. My family will be forever thankful to these guys!

John was amazing! My husband and I were traveling to Atlanta and pulled over to get gas when we heard a loud noise coming from the driver side tire area. We immediately pulled over and started looking for repair shops as it had just turned 8: 00 pm. We found Power Repair and called John and he was very nice and told us to bring it in. We had the vehicle towed and right away he took the tire off and told us what it was…he was fast and VERY efficient! He even wiped off our steering wheel after touching it! He was professional and respectful…. Can’t say enough good things about him! If you need a great mechanic call John you won’t be disappointed!

First of all they are lovely people and helpful. It was Saturday night and expectedly nowhere open. They took care of the car and lifted us to hotel. No need to mention the work. They make you to feel comfortable about that. They are the best. Thanks to Nick especially, he is the man.

November the 11th 2020 I took my 1992 Dodge ram 150 To powers automotive To have my transmission removed and the front seal put in I paid him $350 for the job Which come to find out He did not perform the duties I went to small Queen's court and filed paperwork And after several months the judge ruled in my favor He refuses to get nail refund text tells me when when when he wins the lottery he'll pay me back I'm I'm a Veteran And this is how he treats veterans

John the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. He discussed the diagnosis and repair with me and kept me updated all the way through to the end. Now I'm back on the road!

Our car was misfiring as we were traveling through late Saturday afternoon and Powers Automotive was open and happy to help us out. We received excellent service from John on what should have been an easy fix but the car didn't want to play nice. He was patient and kind and was more than happy to explain everything that was going on to someone like me who isn't a car expert. Also props to Luna for being a super chill dog!

The proprietor goes out of his way to be the best mechanic in Lake City. He diagnosed my vehicle's issue, explained both the problem and how he can fix it to me in a way that I could understand, and gave me a perfectly fair price for what had to be worked on and the labor required. My only issue was waiting while they made room for my vehicle to be worked on, but that is perfectly reasonable for a busy, honest, and successful auto shop.
