I wait like one hour in hold and never answer the phone very bad service i never reccomend the company

The worst company ever. Call them first as a customer and see how long it takes before you buy. I never had issues at the beginning. They sweet talk you to get their policy and when you have problems with your car they don’t care and their customers service is 0/10, you be on phone for an hour before you get a hold of someone. Don’t say you weren’t warned.

Fast service, excellent coverage. Saved me 4800 in the first 3 months, I only made 3 payments!
Traded that Toyota came out way ahead. Talk to Tony!

Don’t do it they made mistake and took wrong car information, I own two vehicles which one was still under warranty with dealer. I have paperwork stating the car I wanted and they tell me it’s my fault! Going to small claims to try to get my money back! PLEASE don’t! Learn from my mistake!

Hot garbage non-assistance

Used their service one other time in the year prior to yesterday. Needed someone to jumpstart car. Battery needed a jumpstart today and apparently that isn't covered for 1200 dollars a year.

Their roadside assistance number they have published has been disconnected because apparently they don't like providing the service they charge for. This is the number published on their site right now. Doesn't work.

You have to call customer service (billing, basically) to get in touch with them for service.

Then the automation of their telephone system asks a bunch of questions and cannot understand anything you say so it asks each question 10 times.

Absolute biggest waste of money service, probably that i have ever had. Cancelling today. Don't buy this garbage, just get a savings account. Or just set your money directly on fire; better value.

BEWARE OF THEM!
I purchase a used car I decided to get this extra warranty. I did normal maintenance of oil change tune up and new battery.
When my engin light came on 5 months later, they denied my claim saying there was an existing issue because of tune up.what? ! Even though they make you take pictures of dash and mileage to show no warning lights are on. They put me through hell of my car being in shop for 12 days before a 3rd party inspector came to look at car in shop. You wait for hours to get thru to them on phone because there is no communication on their part even the repair shop said their service is aweful. They are shady. I drove car for 5 months with no issues. Again they denied me because of regular tune-up maintenance. Do not get this warranty from protect my car.

This place screws you! I went to get my car looked at and when I filed a claim they said my car is over miles. I mentioned they have been charging me for over a year now that I have been over miles as I saw that my contract expires November 2024. They said they have no way of knowing when we go over miles. I told them they did as I always for my 3 free oil changes. During those oil changes they get my miles. I had 3 done this year. They told me the last one they have on record is December 2022 and I was at 118K but they still did the oil change. I told the rep that is when they should of told me that I am no longer covered if I was $4000 miles over. They didn’t they just kept collecting my $68. Now when I need something done to my car they say I am not covered and have not been covered since December since that is when my miles were supposedly over with. So now I am out a bit over $800. When I tried to tell the rep all the things I have on record he kept talking over me and saying he needs to explain. I told him he already did and I kept trying to tell him the records I have showing they knew where my miles where at that oil change and still didn’t cancel. He kept talking over me and would not let me say anything. This was the second guy. The first women I talked to she said she had to talk to a manager and then she will call me back. She never called me back. That is when I called again and got the second guy. I had to hang up after 20 minutes of him arguing with me. I called back and got a third guy and he said it was my fault I got charge for a year even though my mileage expires. He said I should of told them. I said they did my brakes and knew it was over. They said they didn’t because during that time in December of 2022 they had something wrong with the machines and couldn’t get it until after. I said they still received the mileage but still charged me. I told them I will contact the Attorney General, my bank and others to get my $800 plus that they charged me if they are not going to cover the work I need. They customer Service Rep said it will just cost me more money for me if I sue them. Seriously! The beginning when I first started with them they seemed great until you need work and they just keep charging you until you decide to tell them your over miles. Do not do business with them! They should have tried to figure a way to solve this. Instead they put blame on me!

This company has horrible customer service. The staff answering the phones have no professionalism at all. I am a service manager and was trying to assist one of our customers. She was wrongfully denied her assistance from her warranty company so I called to try to assist her. The rep was rude to me, spoke over me, raised his voice at me, all because I pointed out an error made on Protect My Car's part that caused the denial. I was told by this rep that Brakes Plus should have been able to help our customer with her failing transmission and if they couldn't, then she should've called them. She brought her car to a transmission shop for our opinion and help. Brakes Plus specializes in brakes, not transmissions. I feel that after what I watched you put the customer through, the unprofessionalism I received from your staff, the powertrain claims person being unresponsive to voicemails or emails, this is a SCAM company and you all should be ashamed of yourselves for treating people this way. People work hard for their money and they put their trust in you to help them when/if the time arrives and you failed big time. KINDNESS IS FREE AND YOU SHOULD LEARN TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS. Even if my customer was rightfully denied, there was no reason/cause for the treatment we received from this company and it's staff. If this is your warranty company, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I strongly suggest you reconsider your decision and look elsewhere.

As a mechanic who has dealt with them I can honestly say run, run away as fast as you can. The things I’ve seen them do my customers I never thought I would see I didn’t think it was possible for them to act so openly criminal. They are flat out scam artists, they don’t ever pay out whether your contract says they have to or not, and their reasons are pitiful and senseless. Choose anyone else, you have been warned.

I have been with the company for a few years now and have absolutely any problems. My car dealership loves them as well. They pay their claims so much quicker than their competitors. I get free oil changes with no hassel as that is the plan that i have chosen with my warranty. No issues thus far.

I try to get a battery replacement and PMC told me because they replaced my starter they can't replace my battery which states in my contract I get a battery replacement every new contract which is about 4 years. PMC is a scam

It's almost impossible to get customer service on the phone. The app isn't user friendly, it's limited on what you can actually do on it.

Agents Are extremely abusive, Company violates the ROSCA act as described in FTC vs Vonage. Agents Lie About Coverage and give some really bad advice, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

My GMC Terrain’s engine blew and they made me jump through hoops just to deny my claim. Knowing that I couldn’t afford to repair my car at the time, they continued to charge the account on file for a car that no longer even existed. Wouldn’t they have records through CarFax of the car being totaled? Fishy business

They took my money. They are didn’t pay for my transmission. I had eyin order. And took them over two weeks before I could get anyone on the phone when I did nothing was solved. I hate I got them. The one time I needed to use it they failed. They they wouldn’t honor my oil change. They sucks. I paid them faithfully for over two years. That’s how they staying in business taken people money. I don’t understand why they doing this to people and nothing getting done to them. Over two years and I am on a fixed income. Lord please. They got to be stopped for
