They perform the work at a fair price and they did exactly what they promised they would do.

Protow took care of our problem. Junior started my claim without having my car. What a blessing to have him work on my car. He fix my engine and left it so clean in and out. What a pleasure to have him as a mechanic for my car. We are his customers for life.

I've been going here for years. Best place in Naples. When I lived in Miami I would drive back to Naples just to have Tom fix my car because I know he wouldn't ripped off and he doesn't over charged.

I needed my clutch replaced because it was sticking badly. I just graduated and was starting a new job with a long commute. I had 87k miles on my V6 Accord Coupe 6Speed at the time. I now have 137k miles on the car, and it’s as smooth as ever. The clutch has been great since the repair, and I expect it to last me a lot longer. The work was done timely and a much better value than what the Honda dealer was going to charge me.

I gave Protow 1 star by default otherwise I would give less than zero if possible.
3 months ago, I call Protow repair shop because my BMW classic car would not start, the owner advertised that he repairs German made cars. He towed the car to his shop and next day he told me that car needs new alternator. Supposedly he replaced the alternator and since that time my nightmare started, few weeks later coolant expansion tank burst while driving the car, he said he replaced the tank but next day after I took the car the coolant expansion tank burst again, since that time he kept the car in the shop for six weeks telling me that something is wrong with the engine, he told me also that he has to replace the engine from different BMW car asking for cash toward the replacement. Finally, he called that the car was ready, I paid him for the final repair and while driving the car home the engine got very hot almost went on fire, I asked him at that time if he really know how to fix the car, he said he will fix or otherwise returned what I paid (all together I paid him over $4,000). He worked on the car for another week and called that the car is ready, I pick up the car and the next day light went on that something wrong is with the engine, I brought the car again for checking, when I came back to pick up the car he said that he did something and all is fine. A few days later the car would not start, when I called him again about the problem he said that the battery is bad and he is not responsible for the battery. I got jump and the car will not start, I suspect it is the alternator again. When I called him again he said he will come and look at the car and later refuse to come and didn’t return my calls. I send him text that I want him to return the money he took because not only he didn’t fix the car but made big mess of it, his response was I quote “I am doing my part as a business owner and you do not understand that. So, I will not reimburse any funds. If you want to proceed with legal matters I will proceed also. ”
Now, I have to take the car to BMW shop for repair, also I am sending complain to Attorney General and will take the case to court.
This man Junior have no idea about cars repair especially foreign cars. Avoid this place at any cost.

On August 19th of this year, I had the unfortunate experience of allowing Pro tow repair shop in Naples to upgrade my clutch on my Mustang. I dropped my car off at their facility in good working condition. The vehicle sat for several days untouched until approximately a week later. Once the vehicle was returned to my possession is when the inferior craftsmanship manifested. I articulated a concern I had about a peculiar noise that wasn’t evident prior to them working on the vehicle. The proprietor reassured me that the noise should subside, and it was nothing to be concerned about. It is entirely self-evident from the provided pictures that the clutch was misaligned while simultaneously the friction plate was installed backward, thus contriving in the noise originally distinguished. When I initially became privy to this information, I contacted the repair shop that conducted the work with the determination of uncovering the reason my new part failed merely three months after being back in my possession. I was notified that the dowel alignment pins were never installed because the shop claims the kit never provided them. Upon additional questioning, the shop owner claims that the destruction of the part is the result of a combination of “cheap defective parts and driver error” he could not enlighten me further beyond that, which is dubious considering even after following the recommended break-in procedure, I go above and beyond to make sure my property is adequately taken care of.

I was referred to come here by a gentleman names charlie that used to work at this shop that now works at AutoZone and I am so thankful he referred me to this shop. Both Tom and Junior are amazing to work with! Junior is who replaced my alternator and a few other parts. You can tell these guys are NOT about ripping people off like most mechanics. True kind hearted gents and I highly recommend.
