Publix Distribution Center reviews
15Hope I never have to deliver here again! 5 hrs getting unloaded would have been longer if I hadn’t gone in to see why it was taking so long. Went in unloader said I’m done your empty we’ve restacked your load but I don’t know where girl is to finish your paperwork… they had to go find her … gees good help is hard to get nowadays I guess
NOONE KNOWBWHAT TO DO HERE. NADIE SABE NADA AQUI. WORST PLACE EVER. 7YEARS OTR AND THIS IS THE WORST
All the comments are real, I don't know how the directors of Publix allow such bad work, check in at 2: 30 p.m. It's 10: 20 p.m. And they still haven't unloading my truck, they are lazy and disrespectful
It's a disaster, those who serve in shipping receiving, some complete lazy people get high.
Not enough space for backing into assigned door. Drivers need to drop trailer! No such where tractor can park?
This is really too high a rating for this place. Security guard was very nice. Got into a dock pretty quickly, but then it was slow motion. Only had 22 pallets, and it took well over 4 hrs. Very tight on the right side of the building for docking. Saw too many trucks loaded all the way to the back, which came and went while I waited on being unloaded.
If I could it a zero I would, arrived at 11: 59pm Since they told me they start checking in at midnight. When I get down from my truck security guardecided.
He was not even going to speak.
So I walk in the office. And I ask Hey, how's it going? This is my first time here. He doesn't turn around, doesn't look at me, doesn't talk. As if I was invisible It's the most immature and ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life.
So I walk back into my truck and sit down. At 1205 I go back in and i ask him. Listen, do you want me to wait in the truck? Or what do you want me to do?
He throws the paper that I have to fill out at me without saying a word checks me in. 30 minutes Later really hope management looks at footage of this. Gentlemen, Black Husky Guy it is honestly beyond.
Ridiculous. And incredibly disrespectful People like this should not be given a job Where they have to deal with customer service. And as long as management keeps him in that position you will keep on getting bad reviews. Many other people are more deserving of this job.
These people don't want to work to unload 2 pallets for me, it took more than 6 hours
Security people are really nice and helpful. But in side as always at Publix they always take 2-3 hours and then have to wait for lumper fee text.
Since I’ve been here last time, they introduced a rule that is an exercise in dumb. The security will keep the bills, and the appropriate receiver will have to get them from the guard shack somehow. I cannot comprehend what benefit that might serve in their minds, besides extending the waiting times. Case in point. This morning I brought them a drop and hook of Coca Cola stuff. The trailer was empty in 25 minutes, but now I’m still waiting for my bills to be brought from the guard shack. The receiver called four times already. Nobody bothers. It’s over an hour now. Unbelievable.
People in the warehouse are decent. Guard blows.
This is the only Publix that does not have overnight parking. They tell you they have it, but the guard will not let you park. Plus, very bad English, they get mad if you ask them to repeat themselves. Closest truckstop is over 50 miles away.
The most incompetent, inept, unskilled, unprofessional, rude, discourteous and insolent security check-in workers I have ever seen. They have no regard for peoples’ time and Publix should be ashamed of themselves for hiring such unpleasant and uncooperative people.
They don't value out time at all. +6hr unload for 10 pallets. Waiting+10min everytime just for sumone come and ask if I need help. Stay away maybe they will learn treat drivers better!
How many stars you needed.
This place is a shot for driver they don't care your time.
We wish fmcsa and dot regulate these warehouses as well.
Here 6 7 hours is normal.
NO VALUE FOR TRUCKER TIME.
8 hour unload. And no bathroom. Just sad. We’re good enough to haul your product, but not good enough for a bathroom.
