Publix Pharmacy at Northgate Shopping Center reviews
9The few interactions I’ve had with the actual pharmacists have been good, but most (not all) of the pharmacy technicians are awful, and I find the techs to be unhelpful, rude, and condescending. The techs act like dealing with customers is an extreme waste of their time. Whatever you do, do not ask a tech here a simple question, as being polite is above their pay grade. It’s not a stretch to say the customer service provided by techs in this pharmacy is by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced-anywhere.
Friendly, excellent service, jokes back with customers who jokes with them, explains information when asked.
Pharmacist unknown BUT I hope you always have blessed happy days and never have to deal with accessing words issues in your life so you never have to know that mental frustration the person your dealing with is going thru just trying to say THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME WITH YOUR PATIENCE. LOVE ALLWAYS'

TLDR: Multiple lies from workers who just can't be bothered.
This pharmacy location has techs as well as managers (Kim in this case) who will lie directly to your face regarding what discount RX programs they honor. This has happened to me multiple times so I know that it was not a simple one or two time slip-up. To make sure I wasn't continuously bothering them with something unnecessary, I always followed up these incidents with a call to Publix Corporate Pharmacy in order to verify Publix's standing with said discount program. Each time it was confirmed that they do, in fact, still have a contract with and honor the discount RX program that I was denied at the Northgate location. Why they would lie about something like this is beyond me, especially because the discount RX company has a contractual obligation with the pharmacy to reimburse them at a specific price for specific meditation, regardless of the cost that the prescription was sold to the consumer at.
This location is also notorious for blowing off prescription transfers. They tell you to initiate the transfer at your current pharmacy, but that information is blatantly incorrect. Unless you happen to be transferring from one Publix to another you will always be told to contact the new pharmacy you want to transfer to in order to start an RX transfer.
Told the wife that meds will not be ready until 1. Came back at 1: 45. Told wife that meds were in box and were too busy to look for it at this time. Went back following day around 11. Meds were lost. Lady was extremely rude and condescending. Will be using a different pharmacy in the future.
Pharmacy techs are extremely rude and patronizing. One told me to step aside while she checked on a prescription and waited on a customer. How can you check on a prescription while waiting on a customer? Another time, I was in excruciating pain and bagged the pharmacist to expedite pain medication. They couldn't have cared less
This is the second time I have waited a long period, this time almost 3 hours. I know it takes time to fill but when people behind you get there's filled before it's wrong, the first time they had the prescription wrong, it's the same script every 30 days the poor guy came in to get his script. Walking with 2 canes they told him his wasn't ready cause they couldn't get an answer if he would pay the $113.00 dollars, ridiculous!
Best pharmacy in Deland, courteous, friendly, fast, accurate can’t say enough about this team
Very poor.unprofessional.for how I was made to feel at this location.they could have called the other pharmacy to verify my RX.but would rather talk down to people.
One phone call would have given them what they were asking for.went across street
And that's what the professional person did.
