Publix Pharmacy at Pavilion Crossing, Riverview FL

Cashier I believe her name is Madison is very rude and unfriendly. 3rd experience with her and she makes me want to ask for someone else to help me.

Order meds in advance, wait 3 days to give them time to fill. Go to pick up and they are short one prescription, they tell me I'll either have to wait 1 hour or come back in an hour later to get it as they have other people ahead of me. 1 hour in hot sun for 30 pills that were ordered days in advance, smh! Maybe it's time for a new pharmacy!

Have used this pharmacy twice now- the first time I had no problems, but today they made a big mistake that could have been dangerous for my dog. I picked up hydrocodone for my 16lb dog and they wrote the dosage for 5x her actual dose! Thankfully I had had it filled previously at Costco so I knew the correct dosage, but if this had been my first time filling this prescription or if I decided to just trust the dosage instead of reaching out to my vet to confirm which was correct, I could have given my dog a potentially dangerous dose! I will be reaching out to Publix today after their lunch break to let them know they need to be more careful, but I wanted to write this review for others so they know to double check their prescription doses- from this or any pharmacy!

This pharmacy is great if you want to be told it will be ready by 4pm everytime you call and when you go in its not ready. Literally the worst freaking pharmacy I've EVER stepped foot in. Do better.

Healthcare in this area is a JOKE! 3 days for the Doctor to get the correct pharmacy change, and I chose Publix thinking they’d be more reputable and by the time they have my order, it’s going to take them 3 days to fill it! Not rocket science, nor is it anything special other than an allergy pill and anti-depressant- No wonder people need meds! Disgusted! Will keep looking for another pharmacy!

Staff is very friendly BUT I went to pick up a prescription after they told me to come back the next day and it was not ready. I was able to get my medication but besides that I asked to get a flu shot. The gentlemen gave one to another customer before me and proceeded to try to give me a shot using THE SAME GLOVES! Not only that but he used a “dart” motion to give me the vaccine. He clearly does not know what he is doing. As a professional in the medical field, this is not the proper way to give an injection not only that but using the same gloves while there is a whole pandemic? I would definitely like for this young gentleman get reprimanded. He is practicing these techniques wrong and is a hazard for the community.

Very rude and unprofessional. I was told presription wasn't ready at 8pm after doctor faxed and I called to verify pickup time at 2pm.

I happen to love this store/pharmacy and it’s employees. I understand that the pharmacy is busy and not many people work back there, but they still manage to take care of my son and I, while answering any questions that I have. Hands down, I will always choose this location!
