Publix Super Market at Lake Gibson Shopping Center, Lakeland FL

Ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday I was quoted one price but then charged another at the time of pickup also the cake doesn't look anything like the photo they show on their books. This is my last time ordering at publix.

Deli very busy. They were constant in reassuring that someone would be right with us. The pharmacy was helpful and polite. The cashier Amber polite and quick. The bagger was polite but did not offer to take my groceries to the car. It was raining so I wasn't going to ask him but he could have offered.

Publix Pharmacy is without equal in my opinion. From the Pharmacist to the Pharmacy Technicians they offer excellent customer service and reliability.
I appreciate the quick response to my prescription drop off, but it always comes with accuracy. There is no pharmacy that comes close to Publix.

Bakery ladies are so kind and helpful! Shopping carts are being sanitized, employees wearing masks, Lake Gibson store is always very clean and organized. I just love my Publix!

I shop here all the time. The employees can tell you where anything is, exactly. It is always clean, and they always offer to help you with your groceries to your car, which I think is awesome.

I really enjoy shopping at Publix Lake Gibson the store is always clean the workers are always friendly I feel safe to shop there I did hear that there was a covid case but I'm sure they are taking every precaution to keep us safe

Publix knows how to treat customers and manager Emily proved that today. After arriving home, I discovered part of my grocery order was missing. When I called to verify it was still at the store, Emily insisted on driving it over personally. She went above and beyond to resolve the problem and as always Publix proves they are so much more than a grocery store. They are special people delivering exceptional service time and time again. Thank you Emily. And thank you Publix.thank you for encouraging a culture that makes a difference for customers.

Extremely busy place, parking is terrible, too much merchandise in the aisles store is very clean, great service from staff

Frequently out of stock of items I want! Frequent long checkout lines, they never have enough lanes open! Make mistakes on online orders. Parking is a huge problem. I get the impression they could care less about the above problems. I would avoid this store if possible.

Publix 99% of the time has the best chicken wings around. This time however is not the case. The hot and spicy wings I bought this evening were under cooked and the meat was pink inside. Not sure I'd they were in a rush to fry, but was disappointed in my purchase this evening. I put them in my air fryer for a few minutes and they were eatable, but I am not used to this quality from Publix.

Extremely rude pharmacy staff.

Watson Clinic instructed me to call and ask a specific question about the availability of a specific medication. The woman who answered the phone first said she couldn't help me, then did actually check on the med when I told her I was specifically told to call and ask. Then when I asked a single follow up question, she literally said "I can't keep looking through everything. "

Really disappointing that Publix shopping experience and customer service has gone downhill so fast, in addition to disrupting our community with their pointless teardown and rebuild of the N Socrum Loop store.

Their automated answering service is trash! You call and it's either busy or will not allow you to make the selection you need. Makes it fun when you are trying to pick up your groceries curbside.what a joke!

I shop at this publix all the time. I’m there once a week picking up my curbside order. Always great customer service and always do well picking out all my meats and produce I’m never disappointed. I was there yesterday to pick up a curbside order and realized my app wasn’t allowing me to check in like usual, it said my order had been picked up an hour ago (which I was later than my reserved time but usually not as issue though) I called customer service when I arrived to pick up my curbside to tell them my name and let them know I was there to pick up my order since the app wasn’t working and said my order was already picked up? I figured it was due to high demand because of everyone shopping and preparing for the hurricane and maybe the app wasn’t working right? I waited and waited and they couldn’t find my order, after some time they figured out someone with a very similar name accidentally picked up my order along with theirs an hour ago which started to make sense since I couldn’t use my app to check in. This never has happened to me I have used curbside there for a year once a week and never had an issue. I was upset cause it was a very big order and my card was already charged and I like everyone else was in panic mode with the storm coming and getting all my food and goods it was already almost dinner time and I have three hungry kids so the manager and one of the sweetest young girls in customer service stepped in and said we are going to handle this, we will reprocess your order exactly the way you had it have the same shopper shop it and move you up to priority. Not only did they do that for me for no extra charge they knew i had some hungry kids to feed already bad weather so they told me go on take kids home and we will deliver your groceries to your home for no charge ourself. That sweet young girl from customer service hand delivered me my groceries to my house and dinner was on the table in time. As frustrating it was at first they made it right again and went the extra mile to make me a very very happy customer, the kindness they showed me and how they handled it speaks such High volumes! This publix gets ten stars I have gone there for years and even though they are such a busy store, they make you feel like your so important get you in and out and take such great care of their customers -go way over and beyond! Just had to brag cause I know the employees are extra just and stressed with the high volume from the hurricane but yet they still hold true to their service. Thanks publix (-:

I was shopping in there today and struggling to get one of my carts out and the SWEETEST sales associate named Hannah literally saved the day! Just wanted to give her and Publix a shout out for always going above and beyond!

Terrible! No parking spots, a lot of customers everywhere and no staff enogh. After waiting 20 minutes at the pharmacy just to ask a simple question, I have left all the articles and I am going to another store. Not Publix of course

I went to the deli at about 745 one day last week. I spoke to an extremely rude person named Joyce who interrupted me several times when I was placing my order for one single "Pub Sub". I would 100% recommend ordering a sub from Joyce if you loved being talked down to and enjoy being interrupted. Go to this deli if you are having a good day and need to be brought down to earth a little bit. Ask for Joyce.

I stop by here all the time.always an excellent courteous service.always a clean store, everyone is helpful. This is the reason Public is still going strong while others are shutting down.service means everything! Great job!

I love, love Publix! Best shopping experience! I am doing seafood Sunday and always get mine from Publix. Scallops, shrimp, salmon. Will always be a Publix shopper.
