Publix Super Market at Julington Village reviews
20I ordered individual packed cupcakes for my sons birthday at school, they were very reasonably priced. I came earlier than my pick up time and they were kind enough to get them ready. I was in a bit of a rush and the guy at the customer service was super helpful, one of the managers even gave me a small discount for the wait.
Great selections, frendly employees and their brands are as good as name brands. Worth the extra cost and convenient locations.
Least inviting Publix I've ever been to. Staff members were very inattentive and borderline rude. Cashier turned their light off after I got in line. Customer service rep walked right in front of me twice causing me to have to stop without saying anything.
The service at the deli was not pleasant, when I asked the employee what a chicken sandwich was he said it was "chicken that taste like chicken " I thought he was joking but when I asked him if it was made from the rotisserie chicken he once again said "its chicken that taste like chicken " as he kept cleaning the oven. When I asked him if he talks to all his customers like that he walked away and never came back. When I asked the other employee what that guy's name was he wouldn't tell me and surprisingly there was no deli manager working at the time that I could speak to.
Worst experience at any publix ever.
I visited store 2 days ago around 7pm to pick up 5 items and only 2 registers were open and both lines were overflowing into main aisle. I was in line but waiting in the main aisle area along with other customers behind me in the 2 lanes.
The Publix team came and asked the other customers behind me to go to the new lines at the front desk and another line, first to a white woman behind me and another white family in the neighboring lines. I was absolutely shocked … I didn’t understand why they didn’t ask me as I was next…. Maybe they missed me. I am black man thats 6’3” tall and 200 lbs.who knows!? I went across to street to Walmart for better service for people like me.
This is a great store. Wonderful, helpful staff. Best neighborhood supermarket I know. Lived in 20 cities in a long Navy career so lots to compare with.
Every time I go grocery shopping here they are never stopped with things that I go shopping for. I have to end up going to two stores to get my grocery list filled.
Please train checkout staff to keep conveyor belt clean. I need to point this out almost every time (glitter all over, sticky stuff, etc).
Entry and exit to parking lot is poorly designed and dangerous.
Enjoyed shopping at this store. Clean and well organized. Most of the employees are helpful. Ryan makes the best sandwich at the deli counter. Prices are average. The app needs some work.
Asked the bakery for fresh cannoli. They put shells in the oven then let them cool, then filled them while I shopped.
The best cannoli, fried chicken, and sweat tea anywhere.
This Publix feels different than the others, but also familiar. The deli/sushi areas are merged together in a circular space, similar to Fresh Market or Whole Foods. They have a 2nd floor for dining inn, similar to Lucky's Market. The store is organized slightly different, but that's to be expected. They didn't seem to be running as many sales, and some items are higher in price than other stores.
Very nice and clean like always. Brandon at the Deli was Awesome. Very polite and helpful with choices of meals. The entire staff always on A game!
Guys, we love Publix. I have interacted with Publix on multiple levels since we moved here almost 20 years ago, and other than not having the occasional specialty item - which they will try to special order for you - we have never been disappointed. Some items may cost a few cents more, but with the weekly sales, customer service, overall cleanliness, and amazing store brand items (including fresh deli and bakery items) I would never cringe at the suggestion of swinging by Publix to pick up something quick. For me, their own add says it all - Shopping truly is a pleasure.
I like shopping at Publix because the store is always clean the shelves are always full and all the people working there are helpful and friendly.
Always a great place to shop for groceries. Love the meat/deli area, everything runs smoothly throughout the store. Never any long lines and all workers are accommodating when you have questions.
Spotlessly clean and bright. Management and staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. A pleasure to shop in this store. We’ve been customers every week since this store opened.
This is one of the best publix stores I've ever been to! Its an older store but extremely clean and well kept. Its very well managed, has the friendliest staff and always stocked! You won't find better bakery, deli, meat department, seafood, amazing sushi and Wednesdays is buy one get one ;-), and quality produce! Happy shipping!
The staff here are always friendly and ready to help in any way. It is nice to have help offered versus having to track down assistance
No masks wearing while we hit record high new cases of COVID and 226,000+ deaths from COVID as of today. Grocery shopping should not be a political issue. Enforce mask wearing!
Publix promising a $10 gift card for flu shot. Made an appointment on computer for flu shot. Told them about egg allergies twice on intake form. Drove over for the appointment and I'm told they don't have the kind of shot needed for egg allergies. Wasted time. I complained to corporate HQ. Manager called and left message. I called back and she's out for two weeks, but big boss gets on the phone. He says, sorry, too bad.
Pretty poor way to treat people. If you're not going to stock the flu shot, that's fine, just don't promise people that you will. Now not only will I not go there for medications, but I won't shop there either. Ever.
