Publix Super Market at OakLeaf Plantation Center reviews
21Outstanding staff here. They are always helpful and friendly. Love this store. If you need something they can try to get it.
Love this store, altough I recently dealt withy first disappointment when I brought a bx of chicken wings and it was 90% drums and three flats, spoke to asst manager and I was told I should have checked it first, not much she can do, I was disappointed, first complaint I ever had with Publix. I won't buy their chicken for now until I can trust this has been fixed.
Publix is always clean, well lit, comfortable to shop in and employees are always kind and helpful. Every week there are new special starting Thursdays and great pre-made food (fantastic subs) at the hot food counter.
Went into the store on Tuesday 8/2/22. About 7: 30am or so. I went in for batteries. There were out of stocks everywhere. I hunted down An employee a few aisles away, I believe it was aisle 4, maybe 5. There was a middle aged woman working in the aisle alone, I didn’t catch her name but I’m sure there’s camera.no one with her. Middle aged, black, fairly short, black/gray hair. I asked if she could check if there were more batteries in the back, this was the exact response I got from her:
“This is my first day back from vacation, I don’t have any idea what’s going on with this place, (then puts her arms out and says) I’m sorry. ”
And then she went back to the work she was doing in the aisle. I said “That’s fine, I’ll try and hunt down someone else. ” She said “ok. ”
I couldn’t find anyone else, so I made my way up to the customer service desk. I asked for a manager to aisle 9. The manager was called, but never showed up. After waiting, I just left.
That was absolutely awful customer service and not what Publix stands for. They should be embarrassed. Especially by the display from the employee I encountered in the aisle. If you don’t know, fine, but do your job and find someone that knows.
I’m very much pro-employee and in no way an advocate for firing people, but she should not be on the floor dealing with customers. She should be off the floor in the office or receiving or something like that. If it were my business, she wouldn’t be representing it directly to my customer base.
Got what I thought was some spicy chicken wings and they were just fried and dried out after a 20 mile drive wasn't about to go back. Thought it was strange i didn't smell the spicy as always in the car
Great store but the parking lot is a nightmare. Look at how the Japanese do their parking lots, fabulous! Simply, not allowing any cars to drive by the front of the building.
Usually find what I need such as non dairy cheese & gluten free bread. They are more expensive then other stores but they do have good customer service.
2 of us ordered subs. They were to be ready at 8: 40PM. Arrived at the store and the subs were not ready. They first had to make them up. Then we get the subs sit down to eat and the wrong names were on the subs. We each got the wrong subs. There were requested packets of vinegar and oil. Only one had them. On another sub there was requested tomato, wasn't in the sub. Poor service.
Publix everywhere is pretty much the same experience. This one is clean, has friendly staff, decent selection, always has promotions like BOGO and others. Some prices are lower at other stores but if you shop the specials it can be cheaper to shop at Publix. Overall we like this location. The area is a bit crowded so that affects parking, getting in and out of the store and such. They are fast enough and usually have plenty of lanes open. I can almost always find an employee when I have a question. This is probably our main grocery supplier especially when we are not running to Costco.
The Deli is horrible!
I ordered a steak and cheese wrap online when I got home to eat it it was horrible it taste like they poured an entire bottle of salt on the wrap and I didn’t request salt at all. There was no lettuce or peppers. When I was there I wanted to get some fresh cheese I had to ask the male employee with glasses if I needed to get the manager to get help. He asked an older female to assist me she had an attitude. As long as I have been patronizing Publix for everything I have never had such a bad experience and I know it’s because people don’t want to work anymore. Go home or find another job customer service is not for everyone.
Picked up some Turkey & Cheddar Sliders in the Deli. There were no mayonnaise packets. Joy from the Deli came out to check. Definitely out of stock. Joy offered to put mayonnaise in a small plastic deli cup. That suited my needs That is customer service!
Publix is always a pleasure to shop, also they really have one of the best customer. A little pricey but is worth it. I recommend Publix
Great staff, very very good food, prepared just right. The Calamari was perfect and the fried fish sandwich was fantastic. If you leave Trent hungry, shame on you.
Typical grocery store. Very clean and kept in great order. The cashiers are super friendly and make you feel comfortable. The downfall is this place is full of uppity bi (t) ches with bad attitudes and poor driving skills who think they are better than the rest. Just nasty people who frequent there. The store and the employees itself are amazing.
First of all this was my first visit to this store the young man at the deli was very nice but not friendly so I go on to the produce and I asked these two women who were putting salads up and appeared to be mad at the world how much were the Cucumbers because they were not marked no response from either one there was one really nice guy that was putting up stock and answered one of my questions as to where something was located the store is very big and has everything one would want at the checkout aisles all of them but two said 10 items or less that left about eight of them unusable for me the cashier could not have been called her if she were an ice cube her name was Nyx I asked for double bags and she ignored me and I had to personally take my cart around and load my groceries from her area into the cart that has never happened at any Publix before I have ever been to In My Life no one was friendly there I'll make sure I go back to Riverside and to the Ortega store we're not only do they unload your cart they're friendly their nice I know their names they know my name this bunch on Argyle must have a terrible manager or they hate their job and maybe they should go do something else for a living thank God I don't have to come back here
I love Publix and this store is one of my favorites. The people there are very friendly. Thank you for being so helpful.
I ordered a cake for 8 am pickup and the associate wrote 8pm. It was for a 3 year old and even though they questioned it they didn’t call to confirm. Cake was complete but late but I never had an issue with Publix. Not ordering here again.
I love Publix always such a great experience and the staff Is always friendly and helpful. I always buy there salmon fresh never frozen always fresh and yummy!
Ordered turkey wraps by phone told it would need ready in 15 and it actually was READY! That’s amazing! Thank you deli for being prompt!
All I can say is, at least they let my emotional service dog in, no issues, not like Walmart they kicked me out of the store (Walmart) because a disgruntled customer complained.
