Publix Super Market at Shoppes of Bay Isles, Longboat Key FL

Had an issue with a purchase and brought it to “Jeff” attention at customer service. He was the most argumentative, condescending jerk I have ever dealt with. It was a very unsettling experience. Next time I will drive to Sarasota for my groceries

Very convenient shopping place with a CVS and Publix. We go here when spending time at the beach. I just wish they have restaurants and other shops.

This Publix has way more high-end products because of its location and the best bakery. If you're looking for prepared or ready to cook meals, they have a better selection. Also a great deli and dinner bar featuring wings, Italian food, fresh soups, Chinese food on different days. None of the other local stores have this.

For being a publix I was really disappointed the seafood section smells so bad the store is not clean and the up priceing is ridiculous i get it is on a island at the beach but if your gonna have prices like that try keeping your store accordingly

Lots of registers open, so no waiting. Fresh, prepared foods for folks heading to the beach or just on vacation. Clean store. Many employees around to help.

Clean and well organized for a box grocer. Great selection of fresh produce and meats and have to mention the Pub Subs hands down the best.

Convenient for the island, but a little pricey. However, you will spend more on gas crossing the pond. The people working here make it worth the while. Kind, helpful, and personable. Have been many times, will continue to go many more.

Love this grocery store but their lack of organic produce made me give them 4 instead of 5 stars. All the other grocery stores are following this trend of adding more organic, Publix needs to follow suit. The employees here are great and are always smiling.

Very clean, brightly lit store. Deli section is excellent. Fresh made sandwiches, fried chicken, pasta and green salads galore, prepared dinner plates, ready made sandwiches, fresh pizza dough. All very good. Nice bakery section too. Specialty cookies, cakes, breads.
Very good selection of freshly made sushi. Produce is better than Wal-Mart or Winn Dixie The rest of the store is typical large grocery. Good selection of store and name brands. But can get pricey.

Bad experience from start to finish. Worst publix I’ve been to. No parking. No food in stock. There were no pre made sandwiches or pinwheels, so I went to the hot bar to get some popcorn chicken and the worker who took five minutes to acknowledge us said she didn't have any and didn't offer to make any. They need to work on their customer service.

Great, clean, lots of choice and a wonderful backup when traffic off the island is making it impossible to get to any restaurants…

Excellent choice of food and service. Coffee in cafe excellent.but you have the lovely outside area with nice furniture and it is not kept clean! Need someone on the till by the coffee area all the time. We witnessed several cups of coffee, cold drinks and condiments going straight out of the door! Very surprising considering it's an upmarket area. We were on holiday from the UK, not something we are used to seeing!

This is a really big store on Longboat Key adjacent to Bay Isles. Very busy this time of year. Great pharmacy (but some prescription drugs are Chinese). Really nice deli with great selections of meats and cheese. Very good selection of fresh breads and rolls in bakery. The fresh vegetable and fruit selection is extensive. Meat selection is good but not fantastic, but butchers are very helpful and will cut what you want. The only disappointment with this store is the seafood department. Much of the seafood is previously frozen and not fresh although lobsters are live when they have them. Seafood is also expensive here. I shop here all of the time and like this store better than the one across the bridge on 41.

Clean store with a decent selection, but a staff member working in the deli and one of the cashiers (both older blonde ladies) could stand to be reminded that the establishment’s slogan is “where shopping is a pleasure. ” Interacting with these employees consistently makes me want to shop elsewhere. Nevertheless, I do appreciate that there is never a long wait to checkout and there is one young lady who works in the bakery who is rather pleasant.

I frequent A LOT of Publix but this is one of the best. Stock is always great, employees are friendly and courteous. Managers are on top of things

Clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the little cafe and even ate dinner there. We had the fried chicken dinner from the deli.very good.

Really great staff. The example of what a mid-size grocery store should be. Wish they would get real Cuban bread there or anywhere outside of Tampa

Always a pleasure to shop at the Longboat Key Publix, while here on vacation. Friendly employees, a great selection of products, and delicious Key Lime Pie from the bakery.
