Publix Super Market at Fairmont Plaza reviews
14Have bought both the Mojo and the Lemon Pepper rotisserie checken and it is a toss up as to which one is more tasteless. Somewhere down the road I'll try again and see if this review, and hopefully others like it, make a difference.
The grocery store is the most expensive one in this area.
The pharmacy is the WORST in the area. We dropped 2 prescriptions off before 11: 00 a.m. Today. One was Albuterol Inhaler, other was pills. Was told they would be ready by 3: 30. At 3: 30 we went back. Prescriptions not ready. Told another 2 hours. Went back more than 2 hours later. Only thing ready was Albuterol. Why did it take 7 hours to take a box of Inhaler off the shelf and put it in a bag? Pills still not ready. Was told this time they would not be ready before 4: 00 pm TOMORROW!
We will not be using Publix pharmacy again. This is completely ridiculous. Won't recommend them either. Doctor had given us a form so there wouldn't be any cost to us. But since we have insurance, the difference in the cost is not enough to make it worth the very bad service here.
Convenient location, large produce area with good selection of fresh produce. Prices are creeping up pretty quick on main staple foods. Can get crowded during certain times of the day.
On 9/07 I purchased (among other things), 4 wrapped sweet potatoes. They were 2 for $3.00. High, but okay, I needed them for a dinner tonight (9/08). After getting home and reading the instructions, it said to only microwave 1 at a time, and for 10 minutes. Thinking that's 40 minutes plus all the extras, for likely for about an hour or more. So, I decided to take the cellophane off and just wash them and put them in the oven for an hour and no more hassle. Upon doing that I found all 4 had issues. Black holes, soft (like rotted) spots and some other growth things.
This morning I returned to the store. Found a manager as I walked in and explained. Very cooperative he said to take them to the service counter, and they'd refund my money. I did that and at then went and found 4 other sweet potatoes that were not wrapped and could be inspected. Not the best maybe, but okay. Went back to the service counter, thinking they would tell me to just take them, and no charge. Not so. They were rung up and I "was not" given the full refund of the bad potatoes. We're not talking about a lot of money, but I just thought that was kind of cheap of then to do? I have a choice, to choose where I shop. Can you guess where I likely will not shop?
Clean, we'll organized. Fresh produce. Good deli. Friendly cashiers. Pharmacy sends refill reminders.
Publix Fairmount is generally managed very well. The store is well lit, clean and most times well stocked. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with regarding questions. Check out staff are always polite and willing to assist with packages.
Always nice and clean. Workers are pleasant. Prices have increased drastically lately compared to other stores in the area but I can always find what I’m looking for here.
Always stocked and clean. The store is so popular there have been time's you had to wait for a buggy.
Ordered a couple of subs through the Publix online option. Ordering was fast and simple. Picked up sandwiches at allotted time with no issues. Would have earned a 5star but Publix prices are too high.
The selection is not as large as the South Sebring Publix but the store is clean and well organized and the staff is always accommodating.
Had order chicken for a funeral it was about 100 pieces. And they had it ready when they said they would.
Terrible, wait. Lines are backed up and people go on brake. Lake placid Publix so much better.
I can always reassure myself that this Publix will be stocked clean neat and very helpful. I would recommend to anyone.
