Publix Super Market at Island Walk Shopping Center, Fernandina Beach FL

Great Publix absolutely wonderful people. Some of them have been there many many
years. All of them are polite and helpful

Rude and unhelpful staff. An employee (since 1916!) could not find an item that showed in stock in their computer.

Publix has been a Supermarket I have gone to for years. But if you use CASH you're treated like a Potential Criminal. Because some fools pass fake money. I was treated this way on Christmas Eve December 24th 2023. When the cashier first used her fingernails on my two twenty dollar bills I gave her to pay for my groceries. Then she used her marking pen to see if the twenties were golden. Then she lifted the bills to the lights in the store. The Publix cashier then gave me change from my two Good twenty dollar bills. Come on true overkill besides when an Manager got a hold of me later he told me about some customers who had passed 3, $50 bills. OK but I didn't have $50 dollar bills I had two Twenty dollar bills. I wonder when Publix will make it so you can only use debit or credit cards for all purchases in the store. How about telling customers no $50 or $100 dollar bills. Or get a better fake bill detector machine at each cashier's checkouts.

Manager kicked me and my service dog out of store because he said they don't recognize service animals! I was doing instacart orders, and He kept badgering about what kind of service dog she was. (which by federal law, no one is allowed to ask period!) Showed my license as well and it didn't matter! He stood there trying to intimate me, as I worked. They just lost business! I have never been treated like this any other Publix before, as I shop many. I definitely will never shop this store again.

I shop here every Sunday at a minimum and it’s a great experience every time. The staff are incredibly friendly, the store is so clean, and their checkout is efficient. Gotta shout out to my girl Shirley who checks us out every Sunday and she is THE BEST!

The store was super clean. The team member in the seafood section was very nice and awesome.

I had great help from a very nice and professional worker named Alan. He helped me find the baby food and soup for my kids. I thank him very much! #Publix #TheBest #Awesome #AMAZING #babyfood

By far the worst experience, I have ever had at Publix as a customer. Shirley who worked around 12: 30 pm today October 31,2023 impatiently asked if I was ready to check out which I said yes. I had two different separate orders in which I accidentally put an item from one to another. We caught the mistake before she scanned any and all other items. That one mistake must have been a set off point because her attitude progressed from there. You could tell by her body language and facial expression that she couldn't care less. Thankfully there wasn't any conversation considering the tension. It was a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience and I will not be coming back there.

Great selection of items. Most importantly, outstanding helpful, friendly staff from Shirley, Jennie, Alan to Customer Service to Deparrment Managers & Store Manager.

Went shopping here for a weeks vacation. Employees were so polite, unlike New England super markets.

I usually love Publix but you can't always have it perfect. When engines for a couple of dinners.
We're somewhat busy but didn't have didn't have enough to serve me at the hot bar. Kind of a catch-22 here's what we sell but this is what you get. But overall this Publix is a wonderful place to shop.
