Publix Super Market at Westlake Commons, Hollywood FL

I used to love shopping at Publix. I worked at a Publix for almost 4 years in the Bakery and loved it, but this particular one gives a bad name to Publix. I completely avoid going here for many reasons now after being a loyal customer for many years. The Deli is always busy, yes I understand but to constantly be out of rotisserie chicken or fried chicken boxes is insane. The one time I did happen to manage to get one it was so puny and pathetic I decided against it. Though this isn’t any fault to Publix but the parking lot is always insane with cars not caring about pedestrians or many cars parked along the fire lane waiting for others that are in the store. The people that shop there are rude and selfish similar to the employees. No one ever gives you a kind smile or even looks happy to be there. Their sale signs are not always in the correct spots and even though their policy is to give the item at the price that the signs are labeled they want to argue with you. I had a cashier go back and forth with me telling me the sign is just in the wrong place. The customers behind me were even showing her the signs and she went over to the signs and moved them and said see that sign should be over here. Then mumbled under her breath about me as I was trying to pay. This isn’t how your treat customers especially at a place like Publix where they try to pride themselves of good customer service. Hopefully district visits this store more often to get them into shape otherwise they are going to lose more and more customers to Walmart across the street and the other Publix around the corner.

I hate coming to this public They are so slow. You can not get no help in the daily area. If y'all need help Put up a help wanted sign. That will make your business better.

I have been going to Publix for years always clean very friendly staff and the price is great I would always recommend specially this store Publix. Joe Rodriguez

I gave a 5 star because customer service is everything to me and my cashier last night 4/13/2019 got that 5 star Alexis. C and my cashier today 4/14/2019 Rick, majority of Publix need employees like these two they love their jobs and are not employed at Publix because of the benefits like most of Publix employees

Varied shopping center. This Publix is at the bottom of the rung, and I have been to many Publixes in my lifetime. Subpar selection and outside shopping center is crawling with vagrants and beggars. I have experienced this 90% of the time, when I have to go there out of necessity. Their younger help act like they could care less about their jobs. Only plus is the management.

Fast curtious service. Plenty of cashiers and they even will ask you to come to their checkout if no one is in their line. Shelves are full of items in stock. Enjoyable grocery shopping experience.

Love it the workers at this Publix are so nice they all have a smile in their faces. Very organized and clean

The deli staff were very friendly today I was served by Jacari and he was extremely patient with me, even though my order was difficult I appreciate their customer Service.

One of the best publix I have been to. Marsha and the deli staff are so professional and nice. I walked in didn’t know what I want. She took the time to prepare my wrap with care. So professional. I will definitely recommend it his Publix in Hollywood.

Publix is always great. Clean, well organized and workers are always helpful and friendly. Out of smoked Rambol cheese though. We bought them out of it when we visited last time. 3 months ago.

This is seriously where shopping is a pleasure. From the bakery to check out they have staff around the store to assist. I've been through several local stores and fi d this one a great example.

This store doesnt keep up with stocking several products. Diet Publix cola is just one of many examples of products that are frequently out of stock.

The deli is also under staffed and very slow.

I don't know what it is but the guy who works in the deli (6: 50pm 2/7/19) is working with a chip on his shoulder. Mean mugging with a look of disgust. What happened to friendly service with a smile? Definitely not here anymore. What happened Publix?

Always great food, always great service. The lady that made the subs had the best personality. She goes by the nickname Smiley, she also deserves a raise.

Beautiful Store everyone I've encountered there working or just customer's are always pleasant. Big store lots of options available everywhere I've looked. The people I've encountered are very helpful, if you ask a question you will get a pleasant response.

Great staff.dede the apron is hillarious. Some of the fruit and veggies a bit old. Store clean.helpful staff

Had a great visit. Needed help at two different departments. Miles at produce was great helped me out twice. Mike at the at the frozen foods help me get an item i couldn't reach. Jannel at ckout pointed out that the small bag of Tostitos chips i had i could get the family size buy one get one free. It was fantastic from beginning to end. Tnx u all.
