Nice supermarket with good organic produce and a variety of specialty foods. Convenient location with plenty of parking spaces.

This newly opened Publix at The Landings is a joy to shop at. Clean, bright, well-stocked, convenient location. Easy parking - helpful associates. Shopping was a pleasure.

Produce is not fresh. This has been an ongoing priblem for years. Empliyee, Bill, in self-checkour is unfriendly. Publix -where shoping is a pleasure? Not.

Love this Publix! The exterior mall offers seating and they play music though out whole strip mall. This Publix has a better deli than other stores and they use Boars Head products. Also has very nice salad bar

Had a pretty negative experience with the kid they put in the liquor store. He was quite rude and needs to understand how to positively interact with a customer.

The newest and most in Innovative Publix to date the only thing it doesn't have is a beer and wine Lounge it's complete with an outside upstairs patio a full hot and cold salad bar and some of the best dog on subs in Sarasota

I come to this Publix store when I need to go to nearby eyeglass store, craft store and others. Maybe once a month? After a long time closing for the renovation this store was beautifully reborn. We come here around lunch time, we get our lunch and coffee then go up to the seating area.
I can look down all over there and find out what I need to buy.
My recommendation for your lunch, try the poke bar if you are a seafood lover.

Update: October, 2023
Downgraded store rating to a well-deserved one (1) star.

This store still has problems with expiry dates, produce, and dairy that should be pulled off the shelves.
This is a consistent Management problem.
This location does not live up to Publix standards.
I brought the lettuce heads pictured below, and moldy sweet potatoes to the Service Desk.
I was in the store less than 15 minutes and found 4 items, all bad.

Response to management:
I addressed twice by taking outdated items to a Publix employee. A third time it was a 'cola' product (several) with expiry dates of May and June 2023 in the month of July 2023. I pointed it out to Publix employee in aisle as well as took a couple of 8 packs to the Customer Service Desk and asked them to inform management.

3 Stars as I found several different items that were beyond their expiry date.

1st time in this newly built store. Very nice, clean. New design as opposed to older Publix stores.

The brand new Landings store is beautiful, well stocked most of the time and the staff is polite and friendly. I recently tried to redeem Gasoline coupons I printed from Publix weekly ad website within sale dates of store visit. No restrictions printed on coupon. Store refused to honor them. Prices have gone up and stayed up. BOGO sales are now morphing into BTGOs. Lots of perishables priced much higher than other local supplied grocers, with no increase in quality. Since they stopped carrying a few items I used for years but couldn't get elsewhere, there is no reason for me to shop at Publix anymore. The checkout clerks always ask if I found everything I was looking for. When I answer no, they don't seem to know what to do about it, except offer a scripted apology. I was a customer for over 40 years, so they've already made multiple thousands off my family. Walmart and Detweiler's are much better priced and have all the items I think I can't live without. Losing carryout service is worth the savings

EDIT: Response from the owner is another slap in the face. What do you plan to DO about it?

It's a Publix, like all the others. Wednesday is $5 sushi day, so maybe that's worth putting on your calendar. The new Poki/Ramen bar has been added since the remodeling, and that's a pretty good easy lunch. Very decent. Overall, Publix is very concerned with customer satisfaction so you can get very decent service whatever you're doing.

Not very crowded at 1130 am. Staff friendly. Easy in and out.
They have some items not found in other stores
