I traveled from NYC to record at Pulp, and felt like I had landed right back into my own oversized living room. I felt so at home and accommodated to in the space. Theres a garden area outside that is perfect to decompress in after hours of tracking. The studio is loaded with incredible gear and synths you'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else, as well as a Steinway grand piano, vibraphone, an autoharp with an input, and more all available to you like a musicians Toys-R-Us. Danny and Lily were so incredibly patient and present throughout our 8-10 hour days (and my insistence of having 60+ vocal tracks on each song). I am already considering making the trip again for my next record.

5 stars, fire bars in pulp arts is so great.
By far higher margins, won’t lie, they don’t play.
Think I’m lying? Go on try it, rent B for a day!
Inspiring music by Lily. Call Steve to book.

Pulp is a treasure. They went above and beyond to get our album tracked (Palimony - Gainesville, FL) in the time that we booked with them. Wholly professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Every tool we needed to get it right was at our disposal throughout our session. There is no better place to track in the area and they are head and shoulders above the competition. 10/10 would track again.

Incredible environment to record in run by top notch engineers and artists. A world class studio tucked away in little ole Gainesville that is affordable. I can’t recommend this place enough!

This crew was great in helping us with all their pro gear and pro expertise to help us record, analyze and improve the sound quality and performance of the Mode electric marimba. #modemarimba

Simply put, this place rocks. I approached Pulp Arts to shepherd a DIY project I recorded at home through the mixing and mastering process. This review will cover the mixing, as the mastering is still under way. First off, the studio is very impressive, full of great vintage equipment, state of the art boards and outboard gear, and it is beautifully designed. I worked with engineer Danny Clifton, who was very professional, immediately grasped the sound I was going for, understood the music I was referencing, and had immediate, great ideas about how to use the studio's resources to make the proper mixes without altering the original vibe. And it turned out fantastic! I would highly recommend this studio based on its professionalism, talent, and equipment. To have this caliber of a studio in Gainesville is a big win for the area. I will update this review later with more on the mastering and links to the final tracks once they are released. Thanks PULPARTS!

This is such a unique space! One of the most inspiring places to create all sorts of art. The crew are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Got to spend an entire week there and just thoroughly impressed with every aspect. Top notch from start to finish. They even have an enormous teddy bear (I named him Chester) for you to hug when you need a break. Do yourself a favor and check out all they have to offer.

Great experience and an incredible atmosphere. I really enjoyed my experience at Pulp. The studio felt very comfortable and by the end of our recording session it really started to feel like home. Danny was an awesome recording engineer to work with as well. Very cool place. I would highly recommend!

Pulp Arts is a welcoming environment for creatives of all kinds.
Their team is very accommodating to your needs and flexible with work flow on any project.

When I showed up for a two-day session in Pulp's Studio B, I was happy to see how prepared they were, from having the studio fully set up for the time I had scheduled there, and knocking out audio-specifics for recording super fast. It's refreshing to work with folks who are passionate about the process, whether it's tracking a single, producing a full length album, directing your music video, or creating a backdrop for your stage for tour.

Pulp's location helps anyone involved focus on the project for the time they spend there, as it's tucked away in the heart of Gainesville. There aren't many distractions. If you're looking for an ideal environment for your next project, I highly recommend scheduling a visit to Pulp.

An amazing space, fantastic gear, great people, great price, nice bathroom-what else do you need? I've spent more than 100 hours there and I always feel right at home.
