Pupuseria El Paraiso reviews
13We tried Pupuseria El Paraiso last night and the food was amazing! Everything was freshly made. Our first time trying pupusas and they did not disappoint! So good! And I am still thinking about the delicious cheese flan! Everything that we tried was wonderful. Loved the welcoming staff, music, and family atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
How terrible, I just called and the lady acts as if she doesn't understand my question about the dinner they offer, I ask her how much the empanadas cost and she tells me that she doesn't know and that she should open the system and that I called her another time. From what I see, they lack hospitality and information. I don't want to imagine being in the restaurant with the attitude they serve. It would be a waste to drive for this. Thank goodness I called and received proof of how they serve. What a disappointment!
The best Salvadoran restaurant in Jacksonville, very good service, the food is delicious, I recommend it
Don't waste your money. They are extremely nice but the food is reheated and overpriced. The fried pork is refried and it makes it chewy and super greasy. The pupusa was super thin and fell apart immediately even though it had a great taste. We asked for 2 pupusa samplers and I had to ask the server for more chicharon because they only gave us some broken greasy pieces. I would not recommend.
Not worth it. The chicharon is reheated and for that reason it was chewy and very fatty. The pupusa was so thin that it broke immediately although it did taste good. We ordered 2 trays of pupusa sampler and I had to tell the waitress to give us more chicharon because what they gave us was a pittance, we still didn't eat it because I come back and repeat, it was reheated. The dishes are very expensive for them to sell food to people like that.
It's a quaint little place without much to the insides, but the Pupusas are very good. I would suggest to get them 'well-done', but that's just my own personal preference with Pupusas in general. I like the cheese extra hot and melty and the outside to be crusty and crispy.
The lady that owns the restaurant will greet and serve you like you're a friend. She's very nice and welcoming.
I plan to eat here regularly since I found the place. It's not easy to get a good authentic Pupusa in these parts.
Very delicious food, authentic Salvadoran flavor, very pleasant atmosphere with excellent service.
Best pupusas in Jacksonville and with extraordinary customer service. The cheese and loroco pupusas are exquisite.
Mejores pupusas en Jacksonville y con atención al cliente extraordinario. Las pupusas de loroco están exquisitas.
The owner is the sweetest lady, very personable. The food was fantastic. We ordered the pupusas, sopa, tamales de pollo and pollo milanesa. Will be returning to experience the breakfast!
Delicious, authentic Salvadoran food! Small, down to earth restaurant that offers a variety of salvadoran dishes that you can't find anywhere else in town. Staff is super friendly and helpful in breaking down the menu for you. Cannot recommend them enough!
If you are reading this wondering what a pupusa is, take the plunge! Absolutely delicious food, clean interior, and wonderfully friendly staff. I tried a pupusa for the first time and immediately ordered another!
Can wait to be back! Pupusas Please!
The place was very nice and the food was very good. The staff were very helpful and kind. I loved this place and definitely recommend visiting.
Great spot for really tasty Salvadoran food. Two waiters are super nice also.
Love their flan pastry. Best pupuseria for me in JAX!
