We were so happy to find this place! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff - and prices were very reasonable. Plants were hearty and beautiful. Will be going back soon!

Found this place while passing through Deland and fell in love. Bought two myrtle trees, the gentleman who took care of us was very helpful. I am looking forward to our next trip so I can stop by and buy a few more plants.

I started my first vegetable garden last spring. The soil here in Central Florida is so poor, I decided raised beds was the way to go. My neighbor recommended the potting soil from Quality Green Specialists. What a great tip! All I did was plant my veggies in what I've come to call QGS's "Magic Dirt, " then try not to forget to water them and I ended up with a very successful first timer vegetable garden. This spring I'm doubling the size of my garden and will again be going to QGS for more "magic dirt. ")

*** Update: I recent went to QGS to get more soil ans they were out. Okay, my fault for not calling first. So a week orbso later I called on a Friday afternoon to inquire as to whether they had gotten a re-supply of soil, to which they said yes. I responded,
"Great! I'll come by tomorrow morning to get two yards. "

The next day, I hooked up the dump trailer and drove the 20 miles to QGS. To my aggravation, when I pulled up, I was told, "Sorry, there's no one here to run the tractor, they are all down at the flower festival. "

I found it completely unacceptable that they didn't bother to tell me this the day before when I called. It's a 40 minute round trip there from my home.

The good news is that, not wanting to waste the trip into town, I located another provider of quality soil. For HALF the price! From now on I'll be getting my soil from Volusia Shed.

Nice place good selection and variety. Two guys working or at least one of them was working. The other guy stayed inside and acted very bothered when I tried to get some information regarding some fruit tree's I was ready to purchace. He asked me how long Ive been in this area as if to say I dont belong here or I should know this stuff I was asking him. He blamed everything on the " Biden economy ". I was offended and would've bought a few fruit tree's if not for him. The other guy watering plants was very helpful!

This place has an amazing selection of tropical fruit trees, absolutely love it. I've been twice and my most recent visit was bittersweet because the person working there was very rude and seemed to be in a very bad mood. I did not feel welcomed and felt as though I was annoying this person, by simply asking some questions.

Decades of experience locally here. What wonderful wealth of knowledge and locally viable fertilizer and varieties of plants.
Lisa was very generous and patient with our lack of knowledge in an area we are trying to build skills.
We will be back, many times.
