Quality Inn Elkton -St. Augustine South

Can’t think of a worse place to stay. Have stayed here many times and this time was the last. Lobby was closed indefinitely due to water damage. No biggie. My room had water in it. Newly installed laminate flooring felt squishy. Water was coming through the seams as you walked. Room felt very damp.

As soon as we walked in the room we sauce a roach on the wall. After that they were literally everywhere! We couldn’t sit our food down without see a roach. So we asked to change rooms which also had roaches but not as many as the first room. It was literally infested! I hate it here! The area is also sketchy! 0/10

Locations off a hwy, so that conventional. Not sure how this place has a 3.5, let me tell ya. I literally walked in to the rooms, the doorways were dangerously rusted, I’d be worried if I had my kids with me since it just flakes off.the beds they only change the sheets the under sheet has literal brown spots.people are paying to stay here, why are we putting stained bedding on there.no pride in this place. It was dirty period, no other way to put it.clean up like the hell.

Front desk staff was non existent went up to get clean towels 5 times no one was ever there. Breakfast was even worse think there fed better in prison.the rooms were dirty the only good thing about this hotel was the hot water in the shower other then that absolutely disgusting.definitely gonna call the health department on this place don't stay here ever

The softest bed I've slept in in ages and the AC worked like a champ! Night auditor and morning FD were super sweet

208$ a night to deal with cockroaches and mold in fridge and the floors were so dirty, my feet were black within a hour after the shower.we paid for a smoking room and there was no ashtray.very dissatisfied and the loss of that much money really upsetting.

Easy Check in and out. The beds were comfortable. The pillow needs to be replaced. I woke up both days with my head and neck hurting because of the pillow s being uncomfortable. The room's floor was dirty and littered with a few small pieces of trash. There appeared to be a cob web underneath the sink with dead bugs. Toothpaste was left in the sink. The overall appearance needs a major remodel. There are a lot of things in the room that just need to be replaced. I think the cleaning staff needs to be looked at and possibly replaced and possibly the management also. I would not recommend this place to anyone that can avoid it.

Water smells like sewage. Bathroom smells like pee. Lamp shades that were supposed to be white were black when we turned it on. The manager was rude, she locked the lobby when we asked for a refund. Microwave sound like it was about to blow up. The lobby smelled like mildew. The manager had her boyfriend or some man behind the counter, them later he was seen leaving out the back door then walking down the street. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The cockroaches made the stay awful. Complaints were dismissed. The room was ok although I booked 2 queen size beds and they were only double size. The breakfast was barely edible.

The hotel was adequate. It was not extraordinary and it wasn’t bad either. The room really could have used a better cleaning than what was provided (cobwebs, toilet had urine under the rim, floor left your socks filthy, shower curtain was dingy) and there were some things in disrepair that could have been addressed in under 5 minutes and made the room more comfortable (the plug in the tub was missing and I have a toddler so that was a bummer, the lock on the door was loose, there was rust on the fixtures). Over all it was a safe and semi-clean place to sleep for a couple nights while we did the tourist thing in nearby St. Augustine. The beds are rock solid though. Like, uncomfortably and almost laughably bad.

Staff was also a bit rude at check in. Check out was very quick and pleasant.

They checked us in got to room and the room had not been cleaned. This was after 5pm. We asked for another room and they stated they didn’t have one. So we requested a refund and checked out immediately. They are now refusing to refund us and claim we stayed at property. When I called to try and talk to manager they say she is not available, girl (Amanda) starts hollering at me and tells me I can send someone over to help them clean. I have called back multiple times and gotten different story’s and lies. This place is awful!

We booked a reservations. Confirmed the reservation and show up and they canceled it. What is wrong with the people running this place.

Worst choice hotel I ever stayed at. Old and worn. Bathroom tiny and in poor shape. Only good point was plenty of hot water. Room it self was ok. Dirty overall, poor housekeeping. Some of the towels had hair stuck to them. Chairs in room were stained, not clean. Roaches were a bonus. At least no bedbugs.

My experience was horrible. I booked and stayed 1 night. Next thing I know my card was charged for an actual night. I have been reaching out to them and Noone has returned any calls or attempted to provide me a refund for the additional night that I did not book nor stayed. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND PAYING WITH CARD.

Despite of all of these knit picky negative comments that people have given this place we gave it a try, We came down for the Daytona 500 and stayed 2 nights and had no problems. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, clean bathroom, white towels, no stains, we didn't see no bugs like everyone complained about. I hope that whoever reads all of the negative comments, reads this positive one and gives them a chance because we were very happy with our stay and will stay again. Thank you

Roach infested! We had to leave the same day we arrived. Then we were charged the entire stay 3 times. We had to leave as soon as we arrived after dinner and find another hotel at 11pm on the 23rd of December. Staff was very nice, that's it. Don't stay there!

Thought my review was posted, but it wasn't. Booked a room in May. We walked into a room that was absolutely disgusting. Toilet had a lot of dried urine all around the bottom of the toilet and floor. Obviously no one bothered to clean the bathroom or room in a very long time. Every towel was stained, the comforters were stained, the sheets were stained. There was a hole punched in the bathroom door. We were so disgusted we started looking for bed bugs. Neither one of us felt comfortable getting into those beds. We went down and told them about the room, she asked if we would like to take a look at another room so we did. Same thing in that room, only difference was no hole punched in the door. Went back down and my friend said I know it's supposed to be non refundable, but if you could refund our money we will leave. I guess the woman knew how disgusting the place was, because she gave us a full refund. The room wasn't cheap either, it was about $150 after taxes. I still tell people about this disgusting hotel as the worst hotel I've ever been in. It deserves negative stars, but the only good thing was the woman refunding our money. I did fill all this out on a questionnaire sent by the hotel chain and got a generic, non committal reply from the hotel itself. They really didn't care. Find anywhere to stay but here!
