He met with me and my husband for 10 minutes said he was going to order more test
But at the same time he stated Robert needed his drivers license revoked be put on a Walker and consider putting him in a assisted living facility
Well that did it for, nobody is putting my husband away in one of those places. But he did try to revoke his license from that first visit. We worked with his new Dr. Anf Robert was aloud to keep his licensr.
Can't say enough good things about Dr. Beerepoot and staff. He absolutely listened to every thing I said and was right on with the treatment process. So very glad I am a patient there.
Psychiatry Dept gets FIVE stars! I’ve seen two NP of psychiatry there and have nothing but good things to say. You will likely not find a MD of psychiatry who will give you the time, attention and care you deserve compared to them. I currently see Elizabeth Goldberg.
Neurology Dept, THREE stars: I’ve also seen the neurologist there once and I do not have a great impression from my visit. He did order proper testing for me so that’s good but as for any inclination of communicable care/concern, there wasn’t any. Very impersonal. Like psychiatry, neurology can be very vulnerable as you have to talk about very odd symptoms and can feel stigmatized. This doctor does not share any validating information. His physical exam, compared to other neurologists I’ve seen, was also lacking and no feedback was given.
Hopefully things turn out better than my first impression.
