Quest Diagnostics Ormond Beach reviews
13The lab opens at 6 am, My appointment at 6: 45 AM and when I arrived there were 15 people already waiting.they were only two technicians helping people. Find another lab.
I’m pregnant fasting for an exam that after drawing the blood I need to keep fasting for another 2 hours to have my blood drawn again. They keep putting appointment people in front of me, which is ok if I could have the luxury of waiting to get an appointment. I’m now waiting for 1 hour and a half.
Ps: To get an appointment you need to book at least 2 weeks before. My docs visit was at my 27 weeks of pregnancy (which was yesterday), in 2 weeks I complete my 29 weeks and I can’t have this type of test done anymore, because it needs to be done up to 28 weeks.
Not sure why but wait times have escalated even with appointments. You used to wait 5 minutes or so with appointments now it is 30+. Seems to me they need more staff. They have 80+ old seniors standing outside. At least put a few chairs for them to sit on.
Getting blood work is never enjoyable.however, today, I had a great experience. Carol was my phlebotomist, she is the best! Carol is great at what she does and her personality is just as good as a cup of coffee, a great way to stay my day!
. I don't even want to talk about my experience.it was too scary/ embarassing. Left crying. Never coming back. Ive never met nurses with such a hatred for the public.
I am an extremely hard stick & get very anxious when having blood work. This was my first time to this Quest location & staff were kind, caring & professional. Maria drew my blood & she took her time, made me feel comfortable & best of all she got my blood on the first try which never happens (normally I am a 3-5 tries person). The experience was very positive.
Went for bloodwork. The woman drawing blood acted like she couldn't be bothered with anyone and had such a bad attitude. I've never had such a bad stick for blood either. Not a pleasant experience. If you don't like your job, don't take it out on me.
I am going there tomorrow, because it's free with BCBS. I'm scared now after all of the bad reviews.
Always a nice experience at this lab, worth the drive to Ormond! Waits can be long, but worth it compared to going to other Quest locations.
Huge thanks to Jennifer, she was super friendly and handled an extremely extensive lab request from my doctor like a pro.
My hubby and I went there 2 weeks ago for bloodwork from doctor ordered. I and my hubby tried to catch the nurses that we are deafs And need to let us know who is next, oh Lord, not very friendly. One of the person who stand outside taps our shoulder and said we are next. People who stand outside are very nice to us.nurses are very nasty and no respect for everyone and includes us.it’s a shame
This plaace is very slow and i really dislike t he compu3sign in wat ever hasppened staff so youu can ask them a question about something
Doctor's office had not faxed lab slip. This happened once before, and the technician phoned the office and had it sent. Today the tech couldn't care less. I phoned the doctor's office, then waited for an hour for another pleasant tech to assist me. I guess you can teach skills but you can't teach caring.
Came in at noon and went straight into the back room 1. I read the comments below and the lady that drew my blood was very nice and professional. Will definitely come back here!
