Quest Diagnostics Sarasota University reviews
17Milagros was great! Got me in early and out quickly. Very friendly. Clean waiting room and efficient express check-in via the tablets in the front of the room.
23 minute wait with a pre-scheduled appointment. Staff was very pleasant and professional this visit.
I came on the right day, because everyone inside was super friendly and kind, and the whole process was easy! I'm so grateful Sophia was my phlebotomist, as she was helpful in keeping me calm and she kept things as pain-free as possible. I will request her next time if that is an option!
The check-in kiosk in the waiting room can be confusing, especially if you are visually impaired, so I recommend bringing reading glasses if you use them. If you bring your ID and insurance card, the kiosk can actually just scan it for you. You never know how long the wait will be if you don't have an appointment, so I'd recommend bringing something to do and making sure your phone is charged. I had an appointment and only waited 5min, but my husband has gone without an appointment before and had to wait over an hour. I recommend making an appointment, if possible, but if not, "pack your patience. "
Overall, the experience I had today was positive-about as good as I could hope for when someone is drawing my blood.
Update: Tessa is awesome, too! I arrived 2min before my appointment and checked in via the link they texted me. I was called back 1min after my appointment time. Tessa got it right on the first poke, and I had a total of around 10sec of needle time (great because I really hate needles). I was out of there by 3min after my appointment time. Can't recommend scheduling online enough.
Where should I start? Save you the trouble and go to a place where the system actually works! They will make you lose your time.
Hour and 40 min wait I was never called back. Finally gave up and left because my toddler couldn't take it anymore and (I'm pregnant) my bladder was about to burst. Since the remodel the staff is locked off so you can't communicate with them. Absolutely ridiculous I saw four different groups of people come and go.
This place has a walk-in option for absolutely nothing! They make you wait as a walk-in for ours just to tell you that there behind on the appointments and they will not see walk-ins. Just take the walk-in option out, it’s a waste of time for patients.
I had an appointment at Quest online, arrived on time, but the person assisting me Sophia couldn't find my order that was sent last month. I asked her to wait outside and request a faxed resend from the clinic. The clinic sent it immediately, but she claimed it would take time. I went to a nearby clinic, brought the order, showed it, and she said she'd call me but ignored me. I spoke to someone who seemed like a supervisor after waiting for an hour. She said she'd see what she could do but didn't do anything. The person who initially suggested waiting came out again, told me to join the waiting list. Patient care here is terrible. I've been waiting for two hours and I got the call for her with my new appointment I told her how disappointed I was with the wait, and she suggested to wait for another team member
She didn’t keep my appointment and other go in before me, until speak up. I’m still waiting after my second appointment for today. I need to dine my test, but they don’t really care!
God forbid anybody here actually answer the phone so you can ask a simple question rather than waste your time going all the way there! I can only imagine how much farther it goes downhill once/if you actually show up!
I made a appointment and I was in and out in 15 minutes BUT! The young girl that drew my blood did something wrong and I have NEVER had a blood draw hurt so bad in my life? It has been 5 days and the site where she drew the blood still hurts! And when I told her that it hurt She just shrugged and giggled. I think Quest should train their people better before putting them with patients.
This is the worst lab I’ve ever been too. I signed in and sat in the waiting room for two hours while they took 30 people back in the interim. There were times while I was in there by myself for 15 mins at a time and the lab techs there just looked and gave me dirty looks and were extremely rude.
They got myself and the whole waiting room in before our scheduled appointments. Staff was great. When you enter there is no human staff, only a kiosk.which is off putting at first. But as soon as staff come out they are very willing to help anyone who needs it.
I don’t know how it’s possible for this to happen but my drug test was lost never to be found. Thank you for this major set back in my life:)
Made walk ins leave because half the staff left BEFORE closing time! What a joke thos place is!
Went for pre employment drug screen. I was told I had a medical bill from over a year ago I was in aware of. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE THE TEST! Unless…. I paid them for a bill that is in collections! Whelp! Labcorp, thank you for not doing this to me.
I tried to make an appointment online, it said walk-in only on Saturday. Then I tried to call ahead days before to secure a spot, no pick up. On Sauturday, I came in and checked in at 10: 30am, sat down to wait, to be told later they would not take me because the cut off time was some time before 10: 30? How was I supposed to know that? Make a sign to state that clearly! Don't waste everyone's time! Staff was not friendly. I haven't been back to this location for a while, and the service has gone down! I will go to other locations. Do not recommend.
Sent me a note to be there at 1: 00 pm, then a note at 1: 30 pm. I show up at 1: 30 and they won't see me because I'm late
Be aware that this location has NO front desk, only two check-in tablets, meaning that patients have to ask questions directly to the phlebotomists as they come out to get others, clogging up an already hectic workflow. Once your blood is drawn, they'll completely forget about you and won't tell you when you can leave.
