Quest Diagnostics West Palm Beach 45th - Employer Drug Testing Not Offered

I have been to many Quest facilities, and typically the staff are not the most helpful. Today I was helped by Shernette. What a difference it makes to be greeted by a friendly person. She is a ray of sunshine at this facility. Quest should value team members like Shernette, because as an employer, I know how hard they are to find. Thank you!

Had a great experience. The nurses were very kind and funny. They made me smile while I was nervous to get my blood drawn. Thank you!

Shernet (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) was hands-down the best phlebotomist I've ever seen. She was joyful and friendly, and extremely efficient. She found a vein in no time in my left arm, which other people always tell me is hard to find. Honestly - I'm not one to leave a review, but I will absolutely come back to this location specifically for her. Thank you!

The woman who took care of me was great but the lady with the twists was yelling through the door about people showing up (everyone who had showed had appointments) then starting yelling at me directly when I asked what the problem was. Super unprofessional. Didn’t think I’d have such an encounter in an establishment like that.

Horrendous. Rude. Suddenly told us they don’t take walk ins after fasting and waiting 1 hour with excruciating back pain. Kind lady gave me her appointment and they did not honor it either. Never again.

I LOVE this location. Every single person who works there are just amazing. I would rather wait for an appointment time to open here vs going to another quest location because I know how I will be treated here! Always with kindness and care. They did amazing with my 2 year old’s blood work too!

They have you check in and specify what service you are there to receive. I came for an employee drug screen (fist thing in the morning, as a walk in) waited 30 minutes just for them to call me back there to tell me they don’t do employees drug screens. They sent me to another location across the street where they assured me there would be no wait, but none the less, there very much is. Quest is constantly riddled with dysfunction, and you can never get through in the phone if you try to call ahead without going through a phone tree that disconnects you no matter what option you select.

Very bad job in that place, I took my one-year-old boy for some tests and they squeezed his arm in such a way that they left all the fingers marked on my baby's arm, apart from the fact that they inserted the needle twice and being inside the skin needle and not being able to take the vein they began to move the needle inside the meat as if they did not care about the pain my son was feeling, very little professionalism in that place, I do not recommend it at all

The Rudeness Just have to stop. I came in early for my appointment which is understandable my wait time can be a while. But hear other patients in the waiting room with and without an appointment been waiting for 1hour Half to 2 hours when some patients ask a staff a black ghetto lady catches attitude and telling people to go across the street oh they going to lunch very rudely. Simple question are being ask a the black lady is just catch attitudes and rolling necks cutting people off when trying to ask a simple question

This by far the best Quest I have ever been too. The young lady was exceptional. Treated me with respect which is high in my book. Whenever I need bloodwork again I will definitely be going back there! I believe her name Sherrie (not correct spelling) She’s awesome and deserves a HUGE raise for her professionalism!

Just came back to this place on 45th street and I want to give special thanks to Cindy who take care of my problem (missing order from my doctor) with such professionalism. Cindy was very helpfull and wonderful!

My experience was not great. I recently had visited another Quest location and had a very pleasant experience. The place appeared clean. The lobby was packed when I arrived. After names were called (several were still on the screen) and 2 of us were still in the lobby, an employee came out and abruptly said something like, "Everyone has been called. No more walk-ins. We're done for the day. " I mentioned that I had an appointment and my name was next on the screen. Then, from one of the inside rooms, my name was called. My phlebotomist was not friendly at first, and her initial reaction was to tell me that they might not be able to do the test my doctor ordered. I did not appreciate the way I was treated. It was clear that they wanted to leave for the day since it was 3: 00. My appt was at 2: 30; it being nearly 3: 00 by the time they called me to a room was not my fault. Bedside manner matters.

The absolute worst! I will never go to Quest again for a couple of reasons. First, it took forever to schedule a morning appointment, yet they see walk-ins that did not take time to schedule an appointment on a first-come-first-serve basis. Therefore, appointments are NOT needed.

Fast forward to my appointment date - I walk to the building at 6: 45 am and there is no sign indicating masks are mandated. I get to the door of the Quest office and no sign indicating masks are mandated. Me and a few other people are let in the office at 7: 00 am and still no mention of a mask mandate. Two people are before me. They were two elderly gentleman and they were wearing masks. All other patients, including myself, are not wearing masks because it is OCTOBER 2022 and masks are only worn by people who choose to wear masks.

When the staff member came out to the waiting room to call me, she stated that all patients MUST wear masks or leave and they will not wait on anyone that is not wearing a mask AND they do NOT have any masks available for patients. Unfortunately, I was advised of this mask mandate when I made the appointment, when I received the appointment reminder, when I arrived at the appointment, nor while I waited in the waiting room after signing in. This is RIDICULOUS and I will be notifying management, corporate and any and all state oversight departments. So long Quest.

Arrived 10 mins late for our appointment and had to search around for masks because the rent-a-cop wouldn't let us in without masks. By the time we get into the office our appointment was automatically changed to a "walk-in" with a 40 minute wait. Waiting room was at capacity so had to wait outside after 40 minutes. We go to check and now the monitor says 20 more minutes to wait. My wife had to use the bathroom so we asked the rent a cop if we could have the key and he tells us that Quest has it. Go back to Quest again and woman says they don't have a key and we had to drive off to 7-Eleven to use the bathroom. Truly terrible location and experience.

Got here at 2: 45. Was told they only do walk ins until 3p and they wouldn’t see me. So they only take walk ins until 2: 30p
