Getting scheduled with RIS is impossible. They have got to improve their scheduling process. There were 13-15 callers ahead of me each time when trying to schedule. When I did get down to the last two callers in line I was FWD to a VM. Then, I reached a representative by the name of Jessica that then placed me on hold for almost 20 minutes to finish her documentation from a prior call. As a clinician, I will say that this makes it very difficult for patients to receive the care that they need and deserve. This a process that needs improved.

Very bad experience, 2 times they give me an appointment and they can arrive half an hour early and 2 hours pass after my appointment and they don't call me, you have to take all day for an appointment with them

Talk about a monopoly.no other choices for the Lakeland area and they know it. Horrible customer service. No urgency for pain or cancer screening needs. You'll wait a month to get your scan here.horrible! By this time I should be receiving treatment.not waiting on a scan and results. It is worth the drive to get your services sooner somewhere else. This place is slowly killing people with their slow service.

I have rescheduled 3 times. I am currently am my 4th scheduled appointment and have been waiting since 8: 15am this morning. It is now 11: 42am. What a nightmare it has been over the last week. I had to change my authorization 4 times.

I have interacted with the people at RIS four times, once in person and three times on the phone, and so far I have not had a single experience that did not leave me flabbergasted and seriously delay my medical care.

First, I was given the option between two appointment dates, the 5th in Plant City, or the 9th in Lakeland. Even though Plant City is an hour out of the way for me I chose that appointment because this scan is immensely important and urgent. I verified on the phone multiple times the exact date, time and address of my appointment, and specifically chose this inconvenient location for its expedited date. Upon arrival (an hour away, and using vacation time) I was rudely informed that my appointment had been erroneously scheduled for the 12th. Fantastic.

After driving out of my way (not easy for me because obviously I'm SICK), I sat in the parking lot for half an hour on hold until I finally was able to plead my case to a completely disinterested person who scheduled me for the 12th, again. Great. It's only SEVEN days away from the option I chose, and THREE days away from what was originally the "later" option.

Now today, the day before my appointment I'm sent a message informing me that my appointment will need to be rescheduled AGAIN. So I call and wait on hold before being informed that I'm being redirected to the MRI department. Where am I ACTUALLY redirected? To the ANSWERING SERVICE of the CT department.

This has to be the biggest clown show I've ever seen masquerading as a healthcare office. But let's not forget the most important thing here, I'm INCREDIBLY sick and in need of urgent, potentially life saving treatment. So now, SIX DAYS AFTER my original appointment I'm still waiting with no end in sight. Given the abundance of negative reviews it's likely the same will happen to you, go somewhere else.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a medical establishment. I called and asked them not to charge my bank account because I haven't been able to work due to injury. They said they wouldn't and did it anyway. TWICE. Now on top of being broke I've been charged "declined" fees from my bank, forcing me to close my bank account and making it even harder for me to get back on my feet. Your reception staff is unprofessional and obviously do not know how to communicate and serve patients. I will never go there again.

I got an ultrasound a month ago I was in there for so long and didn’t get to see my baby until the last few minutes and they still haven’t faxed my results to my doctor.

Needed emergency ultrasound, was told they found me an appt, then when I called to verify address of appt, I was told it was never scheduled. Horrible people to deal with.

I have had scans that were nuclear, done over 2 and 3 days.they call home. Make sure time is ok. Check on me.also pleasant to help me with questions. Dr Schmitt has answered questions for on there patient portal and even followed up at home. Here been a call on hold for bit (30 mins) wrong dep but still.very helpful normally with portal too. I would much rather get all my test there.

Referred for newborn ultrasound; arrived at the appointment to find out the procedure couldn't be performed due to the child's age, and the appointment should not have been scheduled in the first place. A polite "we're sorry" doesn't fix the inconvenience of having to travel during rush hour traffic with a newborn who is waking every 2 hours, all because staff either relying on automated software, or is just generally incompetent - surely in 2023 this is not the first newborn referral the sole imaging provider to LRH has dealt with, and there is some way to not waste hours of a client's time?

I was overcharged for my service, (I paid and my insurance paid) although I have attempted to get thier assistance, they can repeatedly said they do not do the billing and to contact the billing company. They never returned my many, many phone calls. Once they have your money they dont care about correcting issues.

I had a procedure performed. I paid the copay and my insurance paid the rest. They billed me separately by mistake for a part of the test that they said I should never have been billed for and they told me and my insurance co.it would be removed. They have turned me into a collection agency now and the manager will not return my calls.
