Radiology Associates South Florida reviews
16They are scammer. We have to report them, they send bill that doesn’t exist with a Dallas Texas address. Somebody at Baptist hospital from the billing department is taking the patient info and scam people by sending them a fake bill. Please if you see a bill report them for scam.
This company APEXX RADIOLOGY **SCAM** is charging me, because a "debt" they say, LOL, I was never there, I haven't gone to this place. SCAM - SCAM SCAM
SCAM! BEWARE. Not sure what kind of medical practice even bills thru a text message but I have not had any procedure done at APEXX RADIOLOGY in my life. Not to mention I haven’t had any medical services/ procedures in the last year and I’ve been billed thru text twice now asking for a payment for a service supposedly done on thanksgiving day nonetheless.
This people send me a bill a year after my service at baptist hospital located at 88 st in miami the main one. Horrible experience. They send me several text messages charging me $376, i call and provide me insurance info and they still send me text, thats why the all reviews are about the same situation
I keep getting a bill for which they continue to bill the wrong insurance company. Have call twice and mailed correct insurance information with photos of insurance cards. How do they stay in business with this type of service? Latest notice was they were going to turn me over to Collections.
I got several texts messages and emails from this place charging me $557.00 without any explanation of procedure, date or facility. After calling them, I came to find out that was in reference to a CT scan that was performed at Baptist Health and was paid up front without going through my insurance. Furthermore, upon calling and confronting them, they told me the charge was for their doctors and what I had paid upfront was for the technical component. I told them that was a scam, that I was going to report them, that I was being harassed and stood my ground. Later on the call after putting on hold they told me they had just found out they had a special contract with Baptist Health for this special rate and told me of their error and that my balance would be brought to $0. They also told me that for that to happen they needed to collect my social security number? ! I told them absolutely NOT! I am now waiting to see an email confirming there's no balance owed to RASF. Watch out for this company! There’s been several reports of bad business practices by this company.
Received a bill for $55.98, that I have no idea what it's for, as I have health insurance. I call the number, and they cant even find my name. What a joke!
Never went there before and have no idea what this company is. However they sent me a bill to my family members’ phone which has my name on it. I don’t know where they got that information from but I am sure THIS IS A SCAM!
Had a car accident and was taken to hospital, had CT scans and an MRI scan done. My auto insurance and medical insurance were dealing with South Miami Baptist hospital and those scans were billed from them totaling 13k.and then i randomly received a bill from this company to same 3 services my insurances were already working on with hospital. Seems it is a scam company that tries to rip people off. Based on suprise bill law, what they do is illegal and should be reported Florida's Department of Financial Services. If i would have more free time, would dive more into it and drag them to court, but now i have to keep calling and e-mailing for 2 months between them, hospital and insurance companies.
Non-stop harassment about a bill that isn't mine. I have told them this over and over again yet still receive phone calls and texts on almost a daily basis.
As a medical practice owner, I can tell you that this company has no clue how to properly bill insurance and will just send you a bill instead of properly filing a claim. On top of that, the bill is just a fee with no explanation of what services were rendered, no date of service.
Paid what they asked when I was at their office over 4 months ago. Then they sent me a bill a month later, which I paid. Now I get an email and text asking for an additional $84. What is this?
I just got a bill via email for $84 from this place. I have no idea what it is for as I have never heard of them. Plus, I have health insurance so I shouldn't be receiving a bill for any medical services other than a copayment. I clicked on the Pay Your Bill button and entered my date of birth to investigate and found a link to review your statement. I clicked on it in hopes that it could shed some light on this mystery and the link does not work. There is no phone number or email address. Who runs a business like this?
I have an invoice sent by email from this place, which is not really an invoice, and I don't know why or how to communicate. They say I have until June 10 to pay and I don't even know what exactly I'll be paying. I'm sure I'll be in trouble for something I don't know.
I’ve received a random email bill from these guys without the, ever telling me who they are, or what the services provided were. I suspect it is someone tied with a recent visit to South Miami hospital, but no bill number, no description of services rendered. Nothing. Extremely unprofessional….
It's funny how they have specific contracts with insurance companies and still send bills to patients VIOLATING the terms of their contracts with the insurance companies because so many people are unaware that it's illegal and unethical. You'd think with the amount of times I bounce these bills back to the insurance companies to handle that these people would get the point, but they don't. BBB absolutely needs to look into their downright shady business practices.
Edit: If they send you collections and it goes on your credit immediately report the error on your credit report because MEDICAL bills cannot be reported to your credit and RADIOLOGY services are in fact MEDICAL bills. It'll be removed almost instantly.
