The guides and instructors were awesome. I loved my guide! She showed me how to safely interact with jellyfish, and took some good pictures of me with my camera. The photos are from Snapper Ledge.

Very nice guides and boat crews. We went to 7 dives last weekend with Rainbow Reef and we got great experience of scuba diving! Will definitely go to Rainbow Reef again next time when we go to Key Largo

I can’t begin to express how amazing our experience was. Our instructor Matt was awesome and made the experience more knowledgeable and comfortable. The dive shops employees are super helpful and you can tell that everyone loves what they do. The boat crew and instructors were super friendly, well informed, helpful and all the above. Dove on Sunday and Monday, shout out to Pete on Sunday as he was able to quickly locate a problem underwater with my husband's inflator hose and remedy it. Pete led both dives at a nice leisurely pace and did several air checks. Sydney was on deck on Monday and was so helpful and friendly. Bridget in the office was very helpful and friendly upon check in.

Dangerous operator for safety and transparency. There have been Legal violations down and physical safety violations. There have been Reports of alleged sexual harassment down to numerous complaints. Most of us Just want to go diving and have fun. I don’t believe no one wants to dive and support a business that does harm.

Kids and grandpa got certified with Jo! She was the best. Extremely knowledgeable and went above a beyond with our family.

The crew of Rainbow Reef were amazing! Paige (our first mate) was just a doll and very knowledgeable and made us very comfortable with our first open water dive/snorkel experience! All of the crew were so nice, laid back and made for a great experience! Highly recommend them!

I booked a custom package for 3 days/4 nights with Rainbow Reef and stayed at the Courtyard. My experience was that Rainbow Reef is very well run (Courtyard was great too). From the ease of the reservation process, to how organized the dive schedule was, to the friendly guides, mates, and captains, I had a great experience all around. I had a great time and felt safe on every trip (7 trips 13 dives) Next time I dive in Key Largo it will be with Rainbow Reef.

Let me say this first, this was our first ocean dive. We were so excited and nervous at the same time. We asked the crew if we needed our wetsuits and they said no the water was warm. When we got to our first dive site there was no briefing on what we should expect. They did not tell us that there were a lot of jellyfish. My dive partner was stung as soon as she got into the water. I was having trouble with getting below the water’s surface and had to get more weights. No big deal. The only thing we were instructed on was not to grab the ladder for safety reasons. When I got back to the boat captain stuck his foot out to push me away from the ladder. The problem was I was not going to grab the ladder and him pushing me away like that shocked me. I informed him that I did not want to come aboard and just wanted some more weight. His response was oh. My dive partner ended up going back to the boat because when she went down she was stung in the face and neck.

The next problem was our guide did not stay with us. If it had not been for a couple from the boat I would have ended up out in the water alone! When my tank reached the level of 1500 psi I headed up. When I got to the surface I came up in a cluster of jellyfish. I was stung on my face, neck, arms and legs! I came up so far from the boat it took me about 20 minutes to get to the boat and I was stung several more times as I was trying to get to the boat. I was panicking and hyperventilating to the point all I could say was Jellyfish, jellyfish, jellyfish. My dive guide did not seem to care about me being stung so many times. The first mate helped me get out of my gear and get vinegar sprayed on my stings. It took me a while to get myself under control. Needless to say I did not go on the second dive as i did not feel safe or comfortable with all the jellyfish.

I do not recommend this dive shop for inexperienced divers. If you have experience and you do not need a guide then you should be fine but I will not use them again.

Dove with them for a week. Also got my Advanced Open Water certification with them too. Very helpful and friendly staff. Payton is a great instructor and guide. She and her team will make sure your trip is a great one. Glad to see the crew take safety very seriously, not just talk about it. First time diving in the ocean and I felt very well taken care of.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our daughter is a PADI certified rescue diver with over 20 dives since becoming certified a few years ago. Her last dive was 2 years ago in Hawaii, which was a night dive. This company refused to make a reservation for her because her last dive wasn't less than 2 years ago. I asked "what is your company policy about last dives and when a refresher course is required and when it isn't? " He said, "i am not authorized to disclosed what the policy is. " So this company just willy nilly denies services on a case by case basis with ZERO disclosure of company policy. What? ! We will NEVER return to this dive company.

Overall rainbow has gone above and beyond what it means to be a dive shop and I will most likely be coming back!

Amazing dive charter. Yes, their boats hold quite a few people but the staff was super about not just head counts, but actually verifying who was onboard. Did 4 dive with them over a long weekend. Capt Michelle, Capt Dennis, and our guide was Halie, all were exceptional. We will be back for sure.

I just got my advanced open water certification at Rainbow Reef. Paige and Bridget were excellent instructors and made the whole experience more enjoyable. All of the guides on the non-class related dives were exceptional as well. If you're looking to go diving in Key Largo, I highly recommend going with Rainbow Reef.
