I called Randy based on the great reviews. I was not local and needed a vehicle inspection. Randy was amazing. He looked at the car right away gave me an honest opinion and treated me like we have been friends forever. Anyone that is local looking for an honest mechanic, do not hesitate to call. When I called Randy's, service engine light indicated we needed to change the timing belt. Needed the windshield washer fixed. Checked the brakes too. Randy got us in quickly to fit our schedule.
Very honest.
We have a timing chain not a belt. Savings!
Cleaned up the brakes. Savings! Replaced the washer pump and worked with wipers.
Totally pleased with our service and the cost.
We returned the rental car a day early. Saved!

Randy’s Auto Repair is very clean, Randy is honest and helpful. Took care of the routine service needed for my car - his prices are fair. When the check engine light went back on a few days later, Randy looked at it free of charge and without scheduling an appointment. Great Service - Highly Recommend!

Randy’s Auto Repair does great work and they’re fair and reasonable. They do things in a timely manner and didn’t charge for looking over my car to evaluate. They also have been flexible with me leaving my car there overnight until we can get things sorted out. Nice to have a good shop nearby.

I've been going to Randy, and recommending friends, for several years for different vehicle issues. This is a straight forward, honest auto repair business. When a dealership said "this needs to be replaced" Randy said yes but if you don't take care of the whole problem now you will be back to fix the whole problem soon. Not just parts replacement but actually diagnosing and fixing what is wrong. Will continue to take my vehicles and recommend others to Randy's Auto Repair. Impressed and satisfied customer.

We moved to Largo about 5 months ago and this was the first time needing a mechanic. After reading the reviews we decided to try Randy's to help diagnose an awful grinding sound coming from the front of my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I figured it would be a stuck caliper or a hub assembly. Either way, I expected a hefty repair bill. Upon arriving at Randy's I was greeted with a warm smile and a firm handshake by Randy himself. Being old school, that goes a long with me. He introduced his daughter who was extremely friendly in helping us get checked in. An hour later we received a call from Randy stating that my greatest fears aside, it was as simple as a bent dust shield. They were happy to bend it back into shape & my problem was solved. Truth be told, he could have sold me on an unneeded brake job or something much worse and I wouldn't have batted an eyelid. I can't thank you enough for your honesty and professionalism. You've won a new customer for life. Thanks again, Randy!

Randy was very kind and knowledgeable! I was having a terrible day and got a flat. I didn't have a clue how to change a tire and he took care of things right away. His kindness made my day. I will be returning if I need anything in the future:)

When you want a fair price and someone to treat you with respect, this is the place. I never felt like he was talking dow to me or telling me I needed something I didn't. I trust Randy with anything. He even helped me with my battery that had nothing to do with what I brought it in for. I am so completely happy with all of his efforts. I can't say enough good things about him.

I am so thrilled to find a mechanic I trust! I took my car to have an alignment after getting new tires. Randy drove it for a bit and told me I absolutely did not need an alignment. I asked what I owed him for his time and he said nothing! I will take my car to Randy every time I need 5,000 mile service or for any problem that comes up. What a relief for me, as a new Florida resident. Thank you, Randy!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and Randy. I ended up in a pinch with an emergency, called Randy and told me to come by. They were professional and Randy treated me like we were family. He fixed my problem immediately and was honest and upfront throughout the entire experience, something you don’t find often in mechanics in the area and from past personal experiences. I met Randy a couple weeks ago, and he inspected my car radiator and found a coolant leak for free. A really honest and kind professional. He told me upfront the issues with my car and what my options were moving forward. Will definitely be back for future repairs.

Randys is the best mechanic I’ve found in the area! Have used this shop numerous times to resurrect my Escape and many other vehicles. They are always fairly priced, honest, and quick! Don’t hesitate to bring in your vehicle for them to care for! You won’t regret it.

Randy truly comes off as a gentleman until he starts on your car. As a young woman, I know what repair shops are likely to try and pull. Randy was no different. We decided to have our car towed out of his shop before he could touch anything and instead of the car coming back to us the way we sent it in, it came back missing the entire front bumper. I can see from past bad reviews he really doesn’t take criticism well so I wish I was able to leave this anonymously. However something needs to be said about a grown man as petty and rude as this. Very disappointed in the fact that while my car was needing repairs, it was not a complete eyesore until we got it back. He also put the FILTHY front bumper in the front seat of my car instead of simply reattaching it. A bumper covered in dirt, transmission fluid, bugs. Message received.
