Rapids Waterpark, West Palm Beach FL

Very outdated waterpark. Unfriendly staff, I did not hear any friendly tone.
Would not go there again.

For a water park in the middle of nowhere, it was ok. Just don't come here expecting the "Disney Water Park" experience because you will leave very disappointment. The employees look like they hate their jobs and wish they were home instead, no one ever cracked a smile or welcomed us. You're not allowed to bring in ANYTHING from the outside, not even cookies and water for your kids. EVERYTHING must be purchased inside the park, forcing you to pay their ridiculous prices, and the food is NOT GOOD. The only positive is that the alcoholic beverages are actually ok, but stay away from the frozen drinks they taste like chemical flavors. All in all, if you're not hungry, not thirsty, and just want to get on water rides, the place is "ok".

It's just ok. Everything is rusted out and all the stairs and walkways are dirty. Some rides are closed and abandoned seems like. Worth coming once every 10 years.

1st time, loved it, family here have season passes. I will get one too.got mine now fantastic.
First day off from school, wave pool not working slides that were closed last few times coming are open. Very short lines so far.
This visit today not as impressed only half the lazy river is open because of construction to the new dueling coaster now not going to be completed until next year bathrooms are not very clean a lot of the water hangout areas were pretty dirty this place makes a lot of money you would think they would keep it updated floating around there were tops missing off of some of the vents on the bottom of the pools which is very dangerous this place really needs to be kept up better

It is the third time we have gone to the park and I can say that unfortunately I saw it super neglected, the bathrooms very dirty, honeycombs in the tubes of the slides, the handles of the life preservers broken (how do you hold on safely if they are burst), the slide mat is also broken, you get to the bottom with scraped knees and arms, the food is terrible (flavorless pizza, unpleasant turkey wrap), the obstacle jumping ropes are so bad that the children come out with blisters. The truth is that this trip to the park disappointed me a lot, instead of improving the quality of everything, I feel like it deteriorated a lot….

Ok when we were about to go down my mom didn’t want to go backwards but the man fid the opposite why so i say thank you for that.

I tired calling but no one answered I was planning on coming in about 2 weeks but after seening the review im not sure. Does anyone know if construction is done or does it look like it will be done in two weeks?

Rapids was super fun and very relaxing. It was my family and I first time at the water park. The food was great, the rides were fun, and the big screen tv while enjoying wild waves was amazing.

We weren't allowed to bring our bags in (even though they have lockers for us to use)
Only able to use front of park area

It used to be a good park but this last time I went I was a little disappointed, the river that runs through the park no longer has the same current and they put some strip life preservers on it that replace the life preservers from before and the truth is it's not fun at all and There were several slides closed, and the wave pool did not have the water height it should have, the park has lowered its quality. I hope it's for the season and they put it back like before.

Haven’t been to Rapids in 10 years. Mostly because I don’t like the long lines and children running around everywhere. I decided to do their new Adult Night foam party…. Not a bad experience. Logistically i think it can be handled better and I wish they’d open more slides ESPECIALLY the lazy river! Overall had a good time. The music was on point as well as the bartenders. Would go back.

They only have one bar.there adult nights is pg13.there events is not clear so prices make sure you get tickets online ….

Been here 3 times and after the third strike the experience was bad enough to make me a Karen. Upon arrival to the park we were immediately hit with one of floridas infamous bi polar weather displays in which The world suddenly decided to pee on earth. We were all called off the rides and out of waters. We then sat around (in the open) not enough coverage in the park for everyone for 2 hours. Between this 2 hours we did nothing cause the place has nothing going for them but their water. I tried to get food which was able to kill 1 of the hours being that it took an hour to get 1 person some nasty ole chicken tenders and burnt to a crisp dry burger. (Food was legit barely edible) anyways… they have one person working the register and the kitchen I guess? But have 50 life guards protecting one pool while everyone is getting rained on anyways cause there is no cover. Moving on according to them they would be giving out the another day pass after the 2 hours was complete at 3: 13 wherever they came up with that number being we had already been there since 12: 30 and didn’t touch water once. With 10 minutes til 3: 13 they decided to let people back on the rides trying to finesse everyone so they didn’t have to give out the passes. I knew what they were doing so I waited 10 minutes more as I can see the rain and thunder reaching its highest point wondering how they just opened up the waters. Anyways at 3: 13 they realized that they were not gonna win against the mob of people with a backbone and gave us the little pass that let’s us come back some time between now and November 26. I ain’t coming back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here however if you want some tickets on the low HMU

It was nice, but it was holliday and the cabana was pretty expensive $300 for just include 6 bottles of water, the lazy river was partially close due to construction so no way to enjoy it

It takes an hour to get there from Fort Lauderdale, sooo, we usually get there in the afternoon. We got there at 4 (for the evening rate) of course it’s always hurricane season lol, so it started raining after the first slide. They would not give us a rain check unless it rained for 2 1/2 hours! How stupid is that! They said we could wait in our car if we wanted! And then.
There were NO tubes for the lazy river! They had noodles! How are you supposed to rest on a noodle!? !? !? We have bought yearly passes for 2 years... Not worth it!

Great for a fun day, the water slides are super cool. The lockers are overpriced AF, the hamburger is just awefull, the chicken cesar wrap is very good.

Great place for the whole family, wild ride for the adults and older kids, and plenty of tame water slides too for the little ones. Food is a bit pricey, but you can bring your own and leave it in an outside area just outside the park, they have picnic tables and big area cordoned off for this.

Excellent place to spend a different day. Spectacular all its attractions.
I didn't particularly like the food I ordered (Twin Cheese Hamburger), but hey, fast food place, where obviously the specialty is not the food.
Otherwise excellent.
