Each quarter has it’s ups and downs, but I must say overall, it has been one heck of a ride. I have enjoyed my time at Rasmussen College -NPR campus. Even though my second to last and last quarter has been online due to Covid-19, the fun has not stopped. To the amazing students and the instructors that has helped me on this journey to become an RN, thank you! Each and every instructor has assisted me when I needed it. But remember, you only get out what you put in. So if you don’t try or communicate with your instructors, you will learn a mighty lesson. Each instructor wants you to succeed but this program is more than just passing the test/class, it’s about KNOWING the knowledge and being able to make appropriate clinical decisions. If you have not already learned, this is the place where you will learn to accept responsibility for your own mistakes, prior to going out and creating those same mistakes in the “Real World”. If you “kill” a patient In SIM, fail an exam, or simply don’t do your work, that may be the reality check you need to open those books and try again. No one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, but this school is here to guide you through the nursing world.

I began my journey with Rasmussen College for my LPN licensure and was pleased with how that program prepared me to be a nurse, to take my boards and subsequently proved to give me a network of people I know I can count on. Upon contemplating which school to use for my BSN / ADN, I again inquired about Rasmussen for these options. Well, I can say I am profoundly grateful that I made the decision to go with Rasmussen New Port Richey for this second degree. I think this campus has proven to have staff that deeply care for us to succeed, understand the balance between life and school, and bring their best foot forward each day to help us grow as students and as nurses. Additionally, the New Port Richey Campus has done a fabulous job of helping us transition during COVID 19 to our virtual learning while ensuring we are still learning everything we would on campus. NPR Campus has a Dean who is not only brilliant but cares about her students, if I may say - NPR also has a fantastic advisor named Crystal who meets your needs/million Questions day or not (she is also really good at talking you off a ledge:) which nursing school does to you:) )! Lastly, NPR has nursing professors who are one of kind. Truly, we as students are inspired by their professional careers as nurses and their compassion as professors.thank you Rass for another great experience for yet another degree:)

Loved my time here at Rasmussen. I'm in my final quarter of nursing and overall I'm very satisfied with the level of support I have recieved from the staff and faculty. It was not easy continuing schooling all online during COVID19 but I am beyond thankful for all the staff coming together to make this quarter of schooling work. Even with the pandemic going on we were provided resources needed for success and the school has more than proven that they care for their students and want them to be successful. I highly recommend this college if you are considering enrolling in classes. Even if you are looking for online courses the level of support and knowledge portrayed from the faculty is unparalleled.

Worst school. They pulled a $600 loan under my name that I did not authorize. They lied to me that they were accredited for business which they are NOT. They sent the loan to Collections, messed up my credit score. They do not want to talk to me any more to resolve this situation, therefore im ready to move forward with legal actions.
