Hello world! My name is Jonathan and I wanted to take a few minutes to tell you about my experience at Real Recovery. Like everyone else, I didn't find my way to Real Recovery because life was going great. What I did find was a community of like minded men willing to encourage and hold accountable one another. What I did find was a nice, CLEAN, affordable place that would provide me the stability needed in my life while I worked to improve my situation. Through being a part of Real Recovery I was finally able to really recover. I am grateful and happy to share my experience there because it was a huge part of where I am today and where I am today is a place in life I never imagined to be obtainable.

There's no other place I would recommend for sober living. Real Recovery was a major part of my journey which at the moment has given me 3.5 years of sobriety. It you are serious about changing the direction of your life please take my advice and go to real recovery

Real Recovery isn’t just a “half way house”, it’s an incredible recovery community with structure and the tools to live a new life. I have several friends that either have lived there or currently live there now and the program has changed their lives. They truly care about the addicts that live there and make it a priority to help them succeed. There is something really special about being surrounded by people who know exactly what you’re going through and that’s what Real Recovery provides, unmatched camaraderie and support.

Amazing place to live if actively seeking to change your life. Great place with even greater people. Wonderful atmosphere of recovery. Great accountability and great place to start if u wanna free yourself from addiction. Love this place!

I spent approximately 18 months living at real recovery after finishing treatment. It was one of the best choices I made. All my preconceived thoughts that this was gonna be just like every other half-way house were blown away! At real recovery I only had one other roommate in my room instead of 3 at previous places. Every apartment was remodeled and up to date, it was a place I could honestly feel at home. With about 6.5 years clean now, it all started with Patrick and his staff. Guys that actually cared about seeing you succeed instead of just collecting a pay check. Thank you real recovery for giving me my freedom

Real recovery is a very good safe place for men. It helps a lot of people in early sobriety find their way. I recommend it to anyone looking to start a new way of life.

This is the sober living you go to if you’re truly ready to work a strong program, be surrounded be a fellowship, and have successful recovery. I’ve known several guys who have lived here and come out strong and gone on to sponsor and help other addicts. The facilities are nice and there is really a great sense of friendship and support among the men. Highly recommend.

Real Recovery Bradenton gave me a place to live when I had nowhere else to go. I was at a new low emotionally and didn't know how to live life sober. It was a perfect balance of structure and freedom that I had never experienced. 60 men suffering from the same affliction of drugs and alcohol. I lived there for two years and grew more as a man then i ever had. Countless tears, arguments, smiles, and laughs. The routine and habits that i formed while i was there laid the groundwork for how i was going to live when i moved out. I am still sober today over five years later. I moved into Real Recovery not knowing what my future held. I move here from Maryland and met the director Mark and he walked my sister and I through the facilities and I was a bit nervous because I had never lived in a sober living place before but I knew I needed to change my life very quickly or I was going to die. I quickly adapted to the program and follow the direction of piers at Real Recovery. I seen a lot of success out of these people and liked it and wanted that same success for myself, it wasn’t easy by any means but change isn’t supposed to be easy. I started going to meetings daily and working at the same job I still work at today and I still attend the same meetings and keep in touch with all the friends I made there and we still support each other no matter what. The bonds I made there are for a life time. The facilities are clean modern and up to date with this big amazing outdoor pool surrounded by palm trees where you can relax and reflect. I can’t thank Mark and Real Recovery enough for changing and saving my life. I have been sober for 3 years now because of the tools that I learned while living there but like anything else in life you have to want to change for change to truly start happening. If anyone is looking to change there life, I highly recommend Real Recovery of Bradenton.

I struggled with addiction for 34 years. In and out of countless treatment centers and faith based programs, etc, but always returned to the same environment, only to repeat the same cycle and patterns. During my last stint in treatment the opportunity to go to Real Recovery was presented to me. Reluctantly, having exhausted all other options and finally ready to do something completely different than I had ever done, I agreed. It was the best decision I have ever made! To my surprise it was not a “half way house”, but a recovery community. Real Recovery gave me the accountability and structure I desperately needed, along with the freedom to learn how to live a life in and of recovery. A few simple requirements and the desire to learn a new way to live was all that was necessary to stay in an environment completely committed to not just recovery, but learning to live my best life as a whole. At present I have over four years clean and still moving forward. I am and will be forever grateful to Real Recovery for giving me the ability to lay the foundation on which to build the rest of my life.

Clean and great atmosphere for someone who really wants recovery! People are very helpful and it's a good accountability!

Real Recovery offers comprehensive treatment for those struggling with substance abuse. I have known people who greatly benefited from their services from residential placement and treatment, a safe place to begin a new way of living without substances, intensive outpatient programs and more. Their mission is to further promote sobriety and a fresh beginning.

I've lived here for a year and it's been great. Fantastic accommodations and plenty of sobriety. I can't recommend it enough.
