Red Lobster, Gainesville FL

The food just isnt like it used to be. I mean it wasnt terrible but it wasnt like ohhh I cant wait to go back either.

Well we had not been there in almost 2 years due to the covid scare. Food was great but service not so great. Hardly anyone in the restaurant. Prices way higher and less food for the price. Use to be our favorite but doubt we will return.

Food was edible, service was very SLOW. Waited 15 minutes for a beer and when it arrived it was warm. Some of the shrimps were crispy and some soggy, how did they manage that?

This restaurant was next to the hotel we stayed for the night in Gainesville. After driving all day I just wanted to walk next door and have dinner. We lucked out. We were welcomed and had a great dinner. I've been to Red lobster before but this beats any of the others I've been in. They had the standard fare but it was prepared like no other Red lobster before. Even the biscuits. If you go here you will not be disappointed

Went for the all you can eat shrimp special. The place was not busy (a plus), food was tasty but waiter was very forgetful. Asked 3 times for Napkins, twice for butter (Biscuits were cold by the time we got the butter). The wait between servings of shrimp was a little longer than it should of been as it was a quiet night. But the waiter was very nice. Hard to be upset with someone nice. Overall a yummy dinner.

No more more Coke products. Really disappointing since that's the main reason I frequent here. Other than that service and food was good. Bring Coke products back!

Very disappointed! Foods not taste good. Foods need to cook longer. Too wet taste like water. Fort Myers Red Lobsters taste perfect! Sad.

The timeless debate of chains vs.mom & pop! Frankly, some chains get it right and that's why they grow! Red Lobster is one that gets it right! Especially now with so many places using the pandemic as an excuse to cut corners, provide poor service and jack up prices! Red Lobster kept to what works and it shows; plenty of choices, variety but nothing beats the classics (endless shrimp anyone? Exactly.) An added bonus is a snazzy rewards program too, so enjoy your seafood and get rewarded.

Disappointed in treatment of staff! The waitress was fine.
I hadn't been to Red Lobster in a long time but decide to take my husband for his birthday on Monday evening 10/18 the food portion had changed but over all everything was pretty good and the waitress was a little slow (maybe short staff like everywhere else) but however we made the best of it and enjoyed the time out. The waitress ask if someone have a Birthday, I said yes my husband and he went on to say you get a free Ice Cream Sundae and we will come out and sing Happy Birthday to you (me: aww that's nice)
Later on he came back and said oh here's your Ice Cream Sundae but they are too busy or don't want to or whatever. (say huh, but ok) so I said no problem.
But 5-7 minutes later we stood up to leave after paying for our ticket the staff are a couple of tables over singing Happy Birthday to someone else. (Caucasian) I must say that I really felt some type of way with us being (AM). I usually try not think this way, but way else could it have been? My husband and son told me not to worry about it because I was going OVER to ask them very nicely because it's not right and you are a business and took my money just like you took theirs and we should not have been treated any differently.

THE FOOD WAS NOT HOT. I THINK IT HAD ALREADY BEEN COOKED AHEAD OF TIME. I AM DISAPOINTED WITH THE SERVICE WE RECEIVED. WE WERE IN THE LARGE DINNING ROOM. THERE WAS ONLY 1 SERVER IN THE ROOM. I WILL HAVE TO THINK ABOUT EVER COMING BACK TO YOUR RESTURANT.

So the service was Great, but my food was burnt. I didn't tell the waitress because it was fine I just didn't eat the burnt part

All I can say is. ️ Beyoncé wouldn't take Jay z to this Red Lobster? You're NEVER going to get the IMAGE you see on TV.or in the ADVERTISEMENTS. You going to get something that looks like it came right out the microwave. Just turn it into a Captain D's

AWSOME 5/5 feast INCLUDES LOBSTER TAIL CRAB LEGS TWO TYPES OF SHRIMP. Baked potato was great. Service 5/5,
But there rice was not awesome. Pictures messy but that means the food was good Am I right?

Ordered online for curbside pickup. Web menu made selecting entree and sides very easy. Payment was quick and easy, too. Checked in once we were at restaurant via text that was immediately acknowledged. The only dig is that the time projected for the order to be ready was about 15 min too optimistic and the texts did not provide any updated info, so about 10 min after the projected time I went inside to inquire about the order. It would be nice if the online ordering system allowed individual stores to send text updates about delivery time to customers waiting at curbside.

Food portions were very generous and a good value in my opinion. Seafood for basically the price of premium burgers. Three senior citizens each got two full meals from each order from the lunch menu. The order delivered was 100% accurate and the food was quite tasty.

I definitely recommend this location to others and I expect to return to it myself.

Have been sitting here after arriving at 6: 14pm for a 6: 15pm reservation. After ordering drinks and appetizers, our waitress "forgot" and brought calamari instead of coconut shrimp. We just accepted the calamari because we just didnt want to wait for another appetizer after having just waited 20 minutes. It is now 7: 22pm and we are just now getting our entrees.this was a photo of the calamari appetizer ordered. Mostly bits of breading and not much calamari at all. Very disappointed but then, what can you expect from Red Lobster.

If you're here, you're probably staying in the LaQuinta next door because you're getting something medical done at the new U of F facility herby. That's why we've been there a few times, and we're always glad when we do. They sell the usual Red Lobster stuff, it's always yummy and the staff is unfailingly attentive and nice. I mean, really.if you're about to get a new eardrum installed on the left side tomorrow, there's no better time to dig into a "lobster feast, " is there? Better-than-expected fare, and considerably-better-than-expected staff.

Our server was Taylor and he was wonderful! Great attitude, always checking in on us. Recommended items that we tried and was spot on. Plus the snow crab legs were amazing. Thank you Taylor for a great experience! And compliments to the chef

Took mi ma there for her 59th birthday sun (aug. 29) she had ball the servers was wonderful! The food was wonderful! She left satisfied and full as a tick!

I had rainbow trout, with fresh string beans and rice - delicious. I shared my cheesecake, and even half, I'll past the next time. In a group of 8 and overall everyone enjoyed their food. Thanks RL
