RED WHITE & BLUE THRIFT STORE – HILLSBOROUGH, FL reviews
17The people are so rude. Full of uneducated people that don’t know how to say hello, goodbye, have a nice day or nothing.
Very big store and a lot of new stuff. The staff though is very prejudice and come off pretty rude to white folks at least that has been my experience and how I've seen them treat others the 2 times I was there. Other than that it's fairly well priced on most stuff however they could be more reasonable with other things since it is all coming second hand
Use the restroom before you got or plan on Neighborhood Walmart because the restroom is a joke
Holy cow is this place SO EXPENSIVE! We used to frequent a Red White Blue Thrift Store in Gladstone, Oregon and their prices were amazing. I’m just shocked at the prices they’re asking at a THRIFT STORE that has their goods DONATED to them. I suppose this is the new normal though as Goodwills and Salvation Army stores are getting to be about the same. They DID have a huge selection of items though so I’ll give them that. But hang it up if it’s a brand name because they’ll charge you 75% of what you might buy it new.
One of my all time favorite thrift stores! The prices are great! There’s always a promotion going on like red tag 25%off etc.
The store is big and spacious and has something for literally EVERYONE. I mostly go for clothes and shoes.
Great store, cleaner and nicer area than the other RWB. Be warned, if a price tag has a black marker dot on it, it means something is wrong with the item! They should have this advertised somewhere but I didn’t find out until asking and an employee telling me that info.
The cleanest and most well-organized thrift store I've ever been to. The staff are very welcoming and kind. I have found some amazing things so far at very reasonable prices. My only complaint is that the sale tags are stapled directly to the clothes, which I'm sure they do for a reason, but I bought a delicate cashmere garment where the holes are fairly noticeable.
Interesting concept. They tag items with different colors and every day something is on sale (usually 2 or more of the colors). Some things are expensive others cheap, especially if you take into consideration the sales (usually 50% off). I can’t find any rhyme or reason to their pricing. If it’s on sale, usually it’s worth it.
You need a token for the bathroom, which is annoying, but I can understand.
No changing stations for babies anywhere.
My absolute favorite thrift store in Tampa. Prices are very reasonable and on top of that there are sales on different colored tags every day. The store is kept clean an organization. The clothes are good quality many are brand new. The down side is there are no dressing rooms and it is cash only. So come prepared with cash.
Items can be over priced if not on sale, good selection.
Watch where you step, there was a nail on the floor that pierced my shoe into my food while walking around.
Check out which color tags are 50% off for great deals. Beware of. 99 after all prices. Cash only. I got some great deals.
Alot of garbage in this store. Majority of the sneakers need to be thrown away. Alot of over priced items. The sale item pretty much down exist. They have no public bathroom which is against some code and they may even have a few more volations. They are cash only and the ATM fee is $2.75.oh and don't forget the additional $1.50 fee for using the ATM. Strange how it's pops up hours later. Shame on you.
Really beautiful store, well organized and phenomenal pricing. My disappointment lies with the FOUR DIFFERENT employees I tried to ask basic questions about the colors of the stickers and the different discounts and only one of them (the last one I asked) didn’t walk away from me when their coworker randomly interjected in Spanish. I thought it was pretty clear that we were in conversation and it really was a quick answer, so I would recommend some “people skills” training to your employees.
These stores are organized but almost as expensive as a department store, like salvation army, and unfortunately it seems like their business model has effected other thrift stores in the area that used to be very reasonable. I dont get the enthusiasm of shoppers for this place except that maybe it is more like a department store and so less of an embarrassment for them to say they shop at. Who knows, I like an old fashion thrift store jumbled and packed and dedicated to moving the inventory and keeping prices low.
This place is basically a glorified Goodwill with the prices of a Macy's. Everything is used, but marked at almost full retail on a lot of the items. I couldn't believe it! They do have a lot of stuff, but it's all priced so high! The electronics are all outdated, Everything is sold as-is with no idea if the appliances, electronics, or tools actually work. I've been in a couple of times as I like to Thrift, but this place is way too expensive to be called a Thrift store! If they ran 50% off Everything I might come back and take a serious look at some things, otherwise no thanks. I'd rather buy new, pay about the same amount or maybe a couple dollars more, and at least have a 90 day return policy and a brand new item.
Humongous and well organized. Great parking lot and helpful staff.but these are not thrift store prices. Ouch!
Has a lot of good finds but it’s overpriced, doesn’t except card and it’s just inconvenient to get $20 out or more when you only want a $2 shirt, waited in line for two books for over 30mins…just not the best because of these reasons, workers aren’t as friendly either
