Redland Animal Hospital, Homestead FL

My family purchased a puppy about a month ago and we were looking for a great vet since we are fairly new to the area also. We decided to go with Redland animal hospital and we are soooo happy with our decision. Our rottie puppy Tank absolutely loves everyone. They are so patient with him and give us all the information we need to make sure he thrives! So far our experience has been awesome.

Please be cautious on how they treat your animals. My dog got misdiagnosed after going there for so long, exams after exams and she almost died of an emergency after going to Redland animal hospital 2 weeks before. They couldn’t even take her in for an emergency visit, which I am very grateful for, because my dog would of died waiting on them. They explained what she had wasn’t something that happens over night, it something that appears in labs and test which were done in Redland 2 weeks before. She had a uterine infection that was misdiagnosed for a UTI.
THANKFULLY I was able to find another place that took her in and she had EMERGENCY SURGERY that same night.
If we would of waited another day she probably wouldn’t have made it another night. Please don’t believe what they tell you, make sure the correct test are preformed and I wouldn’t trust their word. I’ve had another animal die in their hands with no justification, having trust in their care we did not question it. But definitely now it is a big question if THEIR NEGLIGENCE was a big factor.

It’s hard finding a good vet for cats, but this office is AMAZING. I always know my cats are safe & cared for, and their honesty & integrity will keep me coming back for years.

First time here. Staff is extremely Friendly, answered all my questions in detail. Felt very welcome with my new puppy, Bella.

We have been brining our dogs to RAH since 2007. Sully, our almost 19 year old Beagle crossed the rainbow bridge on 1/13/2020. Dr Bushnell and staff were so incredibly compassionate during this time. Our family will forever be grateful to you all for your support. Sully will be forever missed but thanks to Dr Bushnell and her heartfelt words to us before, during and after the process, we know he is in a better place now. Thank you from the very bottom of our hearts.

I’ve been searching for a nice veterinarian in Miami-Dade County for 2 years now. I’ve been to a couple other vets and was starting to get discouraged until my friend told me about Redland Animal Hospital.

At first, I wasn’t sure I could make it since my dog is an elderly dog and has frequent bladder accidents. We live 16 miles away and it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get there, depending on traffic. I didn’t want her to have an accident in my car. She did end up having an accident, but it’s okay, I covered the seats just in case that happened.

My dog saw Dr. Perez. She’s very knowledgeable and so sweet! Addy was the vet tech. She and Dr. Perez worked really well together in ensuring my dog had nice care. Addy was very kind and knowledgeable too. I appreciate all of the staff here!

My dog gets anxious around new people and she wasn’t anxious here. Well, she was anxious at first. She wouldn’t go in. She has had bad experiences at other veterinarians offices in South Florida. She had a good experience here.

When she first arrived, she was thirsty. It’s a long car ride for my dog. I feel like a bad dog mom for leaving her water bowl at home. I was very pleased when I asked at the front desk if they had a bowl I could give my dog for water.

The wonderful lady brought out a bowl with clean cold water and a nice towel in case she spilled it. It made my dog feel welcomed and at home.

My dog started smiling after being seen by Dr. Perez and the vet tech. I was in the room with them. They treated my dog with loving care and my dog felt like she was getting the best treatment.

I haven’t seen her smile at a vet’s office since she was living in Tallahassee with me 2 years ago! Its been hard to find somewhere similar to the vet she used to go to in Tallahassee. Redland Animal Hospital reminds me of them. They’re very kind to the animals. They’re knowledgeable and compassionate too. They really care! My dog could sense that. She felt safe and cared for.

Horrible experience! Scheduled appointment and I was told I could decline some extra services, They were not able to do my dogs surgery because he’s super anxious. I was given medicine for him and to bring him another day. I was able to take the day off because I had to stay with him till he was okay. The day of I go in and I was told they dropped the ball and didn’t schedule him and that I had to do the extra lab work no matter what and to take another day off to schedule him for the surgery like if I had the time or schedule available.
Never again using them.

They have been great with both of my dogs! They always call to follow up on their well being after their visit and feel they genuinely care about the animals.

This vet was highly recommended to us for my dog. I made an appt. 3 weeks ago, when I called today to say I was running a little late, they look at their records and say have no appt on their records. They ask me who I spoke to and I’m 100% sure it was the girl I was speaking to. But of course she doesn’t recall. I’m sure the doctor is very good but if your staff is that negligent then I’m sure you're losing more business than youre aware of.

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable! The facility is extremely clean! They showed a ton of concern for my pup and this is where I will be taking my 'kid' from now on!

I have 3 dogs - golden retriever and 2 golden doodles plus I breed golden doodles and I always get excellent attention and care of my dogs. I could not raise and breed dogs without their loving care.

I ran in without an appointment on Christmas eve with my very sick daushound that truly couldn't move. They ran tests took xrays squeezing us in with their regularly scheduled apts. Louie was diagnosed and sent home with meds. The relief of having a vet close and CARING means the world to a pet owner. Thanks to all of u at RAH

Thank so much Dr Bushnell and staff for always been there (8 years and counting) for out little zoo! Jake, Amy, Lolita and Aragorn are so happy for always count with you in the most difficult moments! If I would have the opportunity to rate with more stars I would!

Amazing attentive staff! Made sure my cat sherlock and dog ozzy are always taken care of and happy! They always call to check in and make sure they’re doing well:) they’re the perfect vet!
