Regal Avenues 4DX & RPX reviews
19Welcome back! Great movie experience. Get out and support your local businesses and see your favorite movies!
Theater they sent us to wasnt even working. When we realized movie was late i went to inquire and they said "oh that one isnt working. You need to go get issued new tickets for different showing. " Aggravating. Then the lights in theater barely on. Too dark to find seat we had to pull out phones for light to see our way to the seats. Did this while pushing disabled daughter. They need to tighten up. It wasnt like they were busy there.
I had a great time doing the 4DX While Watching Black Widow. I felt like i am at Universal Studios
Glad to have it back open! Great staple for movie goers in south Jax. Hopefully, they'll upgrade the seats.
Went to go see the new Suicide Squad movie with my father today. So glad that this theatre is still open and survived the pandemic which closed down many other businesses. The staff is friendly and the theaters are clean. Popcorn was fresh and the movie sound and quality was great. Glad that I don't have to drive all the way to Orange Park and that a great theatre is open on my side of Jax.
Tickets were being sold at the concession stand causing a large back-up because customers were ordering their snacks at the same time, Matanee tickets were very expensive.
I am so grateful that this theater has come back. The theater is very clean and the staff is very friendly.
Really nice movie theater. I didn't go into any of the fancy screens, but I did have great service. And I did see a great movie
I have not been to the Movie since Covid. It was a pleasurable experience, and clean, fast, efficient, and a great time!
We paid for the 4dx then they changed our theater without telling us. Then the movie was too dark to be completely enjoyable. They only get the second star for refunding us 10$
This theater closed last year (2020) as the pandemic began and never reopened. Months later a for lease sign went up. Earlier this year a church moved in and it operates as such all week long, especially on Sunday.
Regal is back open. Numbers have been slow so it would be nice if more patrons come in. Concessions available with a limited menu, but the basics are there including hot dogs. Concessions are also available for purchase on the Regal app if you prefer contactless, though the app does not have the full covid menu of items to buy. Social gaps are in place when booking tickets. I have an Unlimited membership so will be back for more movies.
To our surprise Regal Avenues opened backup early May. Need to get the word out to all the moviegoers. Lots of good movies coming out. I think I'm gonna get the annual pass and see as many movies as I want no restrictions.
Great place, love the pop corn and the overall prices are pretty good. Been going here since a kid. Friendly staff, clean, and overall great experience.
Enjoyed going to dinner & a movie. Regal theater has all the COVID bases covered so no worries there. The movie Tenent was terrific.
A solid theater, but using dated seating since most places have moved to recliners.
Staff was nice and the place was clean.
I would definitely come again.
It was clean and nice place. I guess I have been to a movie theater that have great seating I am spoiled to recliner seats.
Gorgeous retro movie theater (at its best at night when the colored neon glows brightly!) with updated interiors and super cushy seats
Rolling downhill fast. They didn't turn the heat on in our theater. Spoke with manager Lisa who said "they didn't tell you when you checked in? " So they knew it had no heat but showed the movie anyway. There's a reason it's Friday night and there's no one at the movies.
