Regal UA Cinema 90, Lake City FL

Came for a afternoon movie in the middle of the week for my son's birthday. It was very quiet and we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Everything was clean and stocked up. The staff was also very friendly and attentive.

My husband and I went to the movies for the first time in about 5 years and saw Scream. It was $12 and some change per adult and being as we ate right before we got there because it's close to several restaurants, we only got a drink. $7 and some change for a large drink. Kinda crazy because the Zaxbys we just ate, the meals were around $7 each. The theater was clean. Halls, bathrooms, concession stand, gaming area it was all clean. Apparently Sing 2 was playing in the theater next to ours because I could hear what sounded like singing over our movie. My husband and I were seated close to the wall where there's only 2 seats per row so we were right by the wall. I noticed there was only about 12 people in the theater (4: 15 show time) when the movie started so I thought it would be nice and peaceful. Nope! The woman sitting about 5 rows back close to the entrance to the theater we were in had 2 kids about 10-12 years of age and they talked the whole time. They talked loudly and she didn't encourage them to be quiet. They kept getting up walking out the door. I have nothing against children, I have 4 myself but i do think it was incredibly rude. I kept thinking any second the mother would ask them to be quiet but she was talking right along with them. The staff should check the rooms every so often during a movie or something and maybe people would take a hint. It was actually my birthday outing with my husband and it was too cold to do anything else and I had a sitter so I thought why not go see a movie since it's been years? I honestly wasn't expecting to see kids in there since Sing 2 and the new Spiderman are playing also.

This place allows homeless people to sleep and use drugs intravenously in the theatre all day while my kids are watching movies. Sad.

It's convenient if you live in lake City and just don't want to take a trip anywhere else used to have a pretty friendly staff but the last time me and my wife and daughter went the staff was kind of rude and was pretty uncomfortable really needs a good renovation to bring it back. Poor people in lake City need good theaters too.

Sorry theater they had 15 kids running around playing and running around playing with the lights on phone cursing they didn't do nothing about it couldn't hear the movie the last 40 dollars they will get out of me can't take your wife to a dinner and a movie after a long weeks work

My experience was so bad, I just got through writing a dissertation style formal complaint to the headquarters at Regal Cinema directly. I hope, that they handle this complaint appropriately. As far as recommending this theater, that would be a HARD PASS, NO WAY. Stream your movies at home, buy your movies online, or take a beautiful country drive for 20-30 minutes South to Gainesville instead. Hopefully, the local manager will train his or her employees on the art of good or even better, excellent customer service skills. I personally, will NEVER give them my business again. This is in Corporate's hands now.

The staff is great & so is the food at the concession stand but I've given a 4 star cuz this is one of the few regal cinemas that don't have the newer reclining seats. If they get the newer seat upgrade I'll be glad to give this regal cinema a 5 star rating

Why when I drove by you were open but when I call your recording says you are closed and there are no movies on the recording
