Regents Park is a great facility! I had a family member there and the new management team is amazing. Any concerns I had for her was addressed immediately! I would definitely recommend this facility.

I have been blessed to lead a very caring team who put our residents and patients care above all else. Very proud of my staff

Do not bring your family member there. There are few bright spots in the hands on staff who truly care (Kelly, Kyle). Often I would hear patients saying 'please help me' over and over and there is no sense of urgency to help! What if you cant even communicate? You're just out of luck!

You will never get a response from the office unless you push and push with more than one contact to them. The receptionist is a gatekeeper that wants to handle everything (but cant). You can send emails and leave messages and it often takes a personal visit to get answers about their care.

Dont take someone you care about there.

Regents a health care facility to go b treated worse than an animal! Ring your button.no one comes no one answers! Don’t care, put u in bed @7: 00pm, don’t get u up until 11: 30am, put your food, phone & TV remote where u can reach up, don’t open your blinds! Make people feel they want to die so they can get out of there. Plus u pay thousands of $ to b treated this way! U call to complain they put u on hold, never come back to phone or hang up on u after u have been on hold for more than 35 min. I think these places should b checked, they treat people worse than stray dogs! This place is in Jacksonville, off SSBlvd,

I have never been treated like this in my life I broke my femur I came over here for rehab I cannot get anyone to help me I been here I'm an over a week have not been bath or wiped off I turn my call light on nothing happens they get for come I had to sit on a bed Pan for 45 minutes finally the therapist come to take me they had to get someone to get me off the bed been a have to get out of this place I don't know how any place can get away with the way they treat people here. I have told all the workers in here the social worker everyone that supposed to be somebody is going on and they promise promise promise nothing happens. As of right now I have been waiting for one cup of coffee for over 45 minutes my breakfast came it was stone cold.

Promises made are not kept. My family has had to beg for patient showers which are supposed to be 3 times a week, and for help to the bathroom and for changing clothes. The bed is broken and has been for 2 weeks now. The TV does not work properly so it stays on all night (remote doesn't work). A couple a CNAs are good and the therapy is fair. But some CNAs are horrible and often can't be found. It's so frustrating and the patient is a nervous wreck. His pajama top was covered in blood one day. No explanation provided and the wounds were explained away as 'being there when he arrived. ' Absolutely false. We are staying with him up to 10 hours a day since the care is so poor. As a visitor, I've come to the aid of other patients who are ignored. One called 911 one night while I was there as a desperate attempt to get help. Apparently nobody from the state or medicare has visited this place. Shameful way to treat those who need our help the most. Update on 10/3. Patient’s O2 level was 70 when I arrived and took it myself. Had to ask for breathing treatment. They do not give him O2 daily as prescribed by hospital which released him to this place. They do not even check it. The family does. Sad. Remote disappearred today. The one the desk provided does not work. TV is on and can’t be reached near the ceiling. Update on 10/21. His O2 was 78 and the tank in his room was empty.probably sine yesterday when we left. In his confusion he tried to get up but fell out of bed last night. Thank God we only have 1 more week in this awful place.

This is a nursing home/rehabilitation center that doesn’t answer their main phone approx. 50% of the times I call. Family, friends, healthcare professionals are here 24 hours a day. Does that seem right? Not to me.
Try calling.

This place should be shut down! Why does the health department does not investigate I do not know. All they do is gather at the nurses station, and do NOT CARE for their patients.

Everything about this place has been terrible. First of all, the first me I visited my grandfather there he was screaming throughout the hallways for someone to please help him. He was soaked in his own urine from his neck down and had been yelling lying in it for hours on end. Staff was not very friendly except for a young man named CJ and a girl named Ashley. Everyone else seemed to treat myself and him like a second class citizen. Then his phone in his room for three weeks has never worked. They putinpn the “maintenance log” last Thursday and it still hasn’t been fixed. Then they don’t answer my calls when I call the main line and try and speak with him. Two dozen calls no pick up and when they do they hang up. Terrible terrible terrible.

My mother has been there 3 days. It has been a nightmare from day 1! The final straw came today when I found her laying in a wet bed from an accident she had over 3 hours before. I truly believe the hospital social worker is getting a financial incentive for getting them patients. DO NOT let ANYONE go to this place! Medicare has them rated as a 4-star facility. They are VERY far from it and the rating must be from at least a couple years ago. Medicare will be alerted to this situation as well.

I have been RN for 51 yrs, & reviewed this place under Medicare, & given a #5 for good review. I spoke before admission re complaints, & they were slick.in fact, they got her out of hosp a day earlier than was to be moved or we signed to allow (daughter still under affects of surgical anesthesia) This is the woman Lynn Walker & Tina Foxworth reviewed on here. When I saw my daughter, she had gained 40#'s. In 4 days. Skin so tight couldn't even pinch a sm spot to see if edema showed up. She was so swollen, it looked like could pop open. Had new onset diabetes, had Lrg toe amputated wk before, & closed w 1 area open w antibiotics to drain. Was NOT to put leg down. She needed assistance to bathroom, & they made her drag her leg down to get there.where there was pee from rommmate in front of toilet. No AC bc of power problem, but NO call light.so when bright red blood leaked thru drsgs it stayed for over 25 mins. She had old fashioned call bell.but NO ball inside "bell" to ring. She called to any one passing in hall.w no response. IVFluids ran out, & went thru her heart. Her sister - an RN for 20 yrs- saw it was open.w her also having bacterial & viral sepsis in her blood & affecting organs. She tried to get new clean tubing. They gave her an open container. She got a new one herself, & fixed best possible.telling them going to call 911 if not addressed. She had a clot in tubing bc they didn't flush it out, & were still going to wait til next day when computer told them to do procedure. Lucky didn't go thru heart to lung or brain. When I got home, I thot at first dr there didn't know her, but I called head nurse p sev others who said was not able to call him - so nothing w fluid could be done til p noon next day.per computer if order written. I told them had 60 mins before I called 911 to have her in hosp. They called back & said got order, but med not to be delivered til midnight (was 6 pm). Just replied.good for order, but u now have 40 mins to see she swallows med (they just had cup to pts & they don't even know what r getting). I called every ten mins, & finally had order for late arrival. Took me seriously, & borrowed med amt from other pts drawer, & she had bedside commode & had swallowed med. The next am, her iv tubing was open again, & her sister just grabbed her things together, & called 911. She ended up on step down unit for ICU at Bapt downtown for over a wk. She had 6 drs had to see her. Her bld pressure was 215/115, & she has permanent kidney damage.just 1/2 point from needing dialysis.
This place needs to be shut down, & it is a miracle my daughter. 45 yrs old is alive.can think of 3 times this place could have finished her off. Didn't have pc, so never got to make conplaints to Florida, but if one person can live from not going to this place, better late than never works. Btw, u HAVE to be on phone w them esp if can't visit every day. She wasn't bathed. She has worked 31 yrs, & I who worked w Soc Sec Disability venues for BCBS, & a Navy guy w a pc & a Duval Co person helped her fill out forms as that was only way told could get Medicaid or food assistance, let alone a $1 for gas to drive to dr sev months later at home. It is now 15 mons later. Soc Sec denied bc of age, & I a Sr, have to cover all her med expenses & food. That "skilled home" should have had assistance & hospitals to help her. She worked 31 yrs.not sitting on her butt, & not $1 assistance. Just plse look ahead before any of u end up needing skilled nrsg care.if u were in an auto accident or got sick, even w medical family, this could happen to u. Be prepared, or this could happen to YOU.

The Regents Park Facility is a recently remodeled facility that is clean. Its staff greeted us in a very warm and welcoming manner. Our experience at this facility has been very accommodating to the needs of our loved one and thus far has made her made her happy.

I have had a loved one at this facility for a little over a year. I have been very happy with the service provided. Executive staff has been attentive to concerns and issues resolved immediately.

My father spent two long months here battling cancer before we had to move him due to the poor conditions of the facility and no medical care at all. We were self pay and prepaid for his stay. For seven months now they revolving staff has told us they would refund our prepayment next week. This coming week the attorney down there will be filing seven different complaints to various agencies to get this place closed down once and for for the good of any future patients that might have come in the door. We know this group has no plans to refund our money, so we have no plans now to stop any complaints from being filed. Do not place a human you care for here. It is elder abuse that is about to get the lid flipped off.

My best friend was there a couple of weeks after a hospital stay for cellulitis (legs swelling and infected). After approx 2 weeks at this facility he was sent to the ICU where he had respiratory arrest followed by cardiac arrest. He died at 40 years old. Now I'm trying to get ANYONE at Regents to return my call to streamed fire me to get his property including cell phone so I can make calls to friends and family (whose numbers I don't have access to until I get the phone) and I can't even get a return call. I'm trying to make funeral arrangements and after he received such horrible care that he ended up dying you'd think the last they can do is return a call and help me lay my friend to rest. I'd say if you have no other choice but to put your loved one in this facility be VERY involved in their care or they may not survive.

I wouldn't even give this one star. My brother was there for one month because his wounds we're not cared for he got septis. He was admitted to a hospital we're I was I formed the date on the bandages were Dec 15 he went to the hospital on Jan 8th. The nurse told me he smelled horrible. He had not had but one bath the whole time there. He went in to the place in OK condition and came out with infection and unable to walk. They didn't even call me to let me know he was sick. I had to hunt him down. I live 6 hours away and when I called his room phone for three days no answer so I called the front desk and was told she didn't know where he was moved to. I had to start calling hospitals to find him. DO NOT PLACE YOUR FAMILY HERE.
