From minute one, Dr. Bryan Coviello’s compassionate nature was a godsend at a very difficult time in my life.
In our work together, his patience, openness and gentle (but determined) guidance helped me develop tools that are currently assisting me in creating the life I want for myself, and that I’m confident will continue to do so, in years to come.
So much self-doubt and anxiety analyzed, processed, and then FINALLY sloughed off!
I’m truly grateful for Dr. Coviello’s care and will always cherish our sessions and the life-affirming/course-correcting work he shared with me and guided me through.
Cheers and best of luck to anyone seeking help and doing the work; it’s worth it.

Unfortunately, the administrative and customer experience that I had upfront was poor.
My appointment was canceled on Thursday before a Tuesday appointment via text. The email notifications I received prior to this simply asked to fill out paperwork prior to the appointment, nowhere did it say that it needed to be filled out three days (five calendar days) prior to the appointment.
When I clarified, this experience was poor, and I conveyed that I had already moved things around in my schedule to make this appointment happen, I learned, again via text, that the appointment was no longer available and had already been taken by someone else.

Based on the reviews, it sounds like the psychiatry team is strong. I had high hopes of meeting with them, however, the subpar appointment prep customer experience has put a sour taste in my mouth, and I’m going to pass on the services of this entity for now.

Suggestion: if there is an expectation to have paperwork completed by a certain time:
1) write down the time and date that it would be due in an email.
2) send an email directly prior to that date to remind the future first time patient that they have one more day to fill out the paperwork or the appointment will be canceled.
3) as a last resort. Text a reminder on the day that it’s due.

I realized the suggestions may go too far and above and beyond, simply my two Cents.

I hope this helps to improve your processes for first impressions.

Phenomenal staff. Doctors, counselors are fabulous. If you need help, this is the place to go. Recommend them highly!

Dr. Pleener has been a god send. He has worked alongside my family as my mom has been recovering from long Covid for the last year. She has had a lot of complications and has been wonderful on getting her anxiety medications in line to help her. She is smiling more and she is slowly but surely returning to the mom I had before she was sick. The office staff is kind and efficient and I cannot recommend this place enough.

I absolutely adore Dr. Kim and couldn’t imagine seeing any other practitioner for my care.

I always thought I just had to live with the effects of anxiety until I started see Dr Pleener and Mr Guarnaccia. Within a few months my life has completely changed. I no longer accept that my anxiety was beyond my control. Through the help of regional psychiatry, I have new skills and a better understanding of how to manage and control these feelings and truly live my best life possible.

P. S.on my review. I learned one important thing over time of my treatment. I was looking for someone to “fix” me. That person does not exist. YOU have got to be willing to meet the psychiatrist at least 50/50. You have to be willing to put in some very hard work. I now know the 50% of the psychiatrist job is to help you help yourself.

I started my journey with Dr. Gomez over three years ago. After 30+ of depression and no improvements with other psychiatrists, and I went through many, I discovered Dr. Gomez. At that time I had assured myself that death would be easier than living. To make a very long, desperate and hopeless story short, Dr. Gomez proved me wrong in my thinking. It was still an uphill struggle every minute of every day in these past three years. But, with the knowledge and sincere approach and proving to me that she honestly cares about her patients I am alive and happier than I have ever been. She works very hard and as her bio states Dr. Gomez does think out of the box. Other psychiatrists would write prescriptions, not explaining anything about the medications, and say I will see you in a month, not giving you the opportunity but to accept their statement. Dr. Gomez explains each and ever medication and makes sure you understand. She does not over medicate just to make you feel numb and she, like no other, lets you as her patient decide when YOU want to she her next. My last statement which impressed me the most is Dr. Gomez gives her phone number so that you can text her at anytime and that text never goes unanswered by days end. Most importantly, to me, Dr. Gomez will never make you a promise she will ever break!
