I needed to open a secure savings account. Matthew was so helpful and knows his stuff. Explained to me the best way to save and invest my money. So if you ever want a great bank, with very knowledgeable people. This is the branch to go to. Ask for Matthew C. He is the man.
I tried to open an account and I felt that the lady was a little racist, questioning me why my license said temporary, asking me if I had a green card and what country I came from, then she asked me to show her all my identification documents, it looked like it was from ICE, Then he told me that the bank did not accept my request. His crude explanation was that perhaps I owed money to a bank, for that reason I could not, then I went to 5/3 and in 10 minutes I had my account.
I went to close my account today and was charged $10. I was told it was for early account closure fee. But I searched around and found it was actually cashier's check fee. I don't care about the $10 charge, just that the teller either didn't know or lie straight on your face was annoying.
