Republic of Movement is the best place in Miami to learn about your body, and improve your health. In this place you improve your fitness level, and also get free physical therapy as part of your membership. Importantly, Sean is extremely hard working goes above and beyond to teach you and spend the necessary time with you to understand things.
The training is not so much about aesthetics but about bringing out the faculties of the brain and body as a whole. However, aesthetics (if this is what your looking for, will come with time, and hard work).
Also, the students in the class have been around for a while, and are great human beings.
Thank you Sean for everything you though me.

Had a great private class at the Republic of Movement which gave us a wonderful introduction to the "movement culture" that I've been interested in trying for a while. It was hard at times, but so much fun throughout - If you are thinking of trying it, do so!

Sean is an excellent teacher - he provided us with a challenging session, and a number of drills to work on covering spinal motion, shoulder rolls, bridges and strength using bars. I didn't think we would cover as much as we did in the session, and to consolidate our learning, we were provided with resources and exercises to follow-up on. He is very knowledgeable, patient and tuned the private class according to our abilities (and minor injuries) - he was even kind enough to overrun a little, which was greatly appreciated and generous - trust me, you lose track of the time in that space!

I can't speak to the scheduled classes, as they weren't available to us as we were beginners and visiting from out of town, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sean/Republic of Movement and if you are interested in this sort of practice, you will find tremendous value from learning here. The concrete floors will keep your movement honest, the bars and rings will challenge anyone. In addition, there are parrallette bars, jump boxes, resistance bands, and all kinds of other useful tools and aids.

If I was living in Miami for a prolonged period, I would definitely enroll to be a part of this community, and will look to revisit whenever I do pass by! Awesomeness!
