Residence Inn by Marriott Melbourne

Just had a fantastic stay here with a lot of my family meeting up in Melbourn. The best part was the amazing hotel staff that took care of every one of our wide range of requests. There are a lot of very nice hole-in-the-wall restaurants and a Publix right across the road if you want to cook your own meals in the room or bbq outside.

Great experience so far! Wonderful staff! For Christmas they have a hot chocolate bar and cupcakes. Well appointed rooms with lots of space. Extremely clean and well maintained. Thank you Marriott!

We were unexpectedly upgraded to a suite. We enjoyed having the extra space. I was a little surprised when I saw the charge for "upgrade wifi ". It was optional at$4.95 per day. I am not technologically inclined and it was pretty easy to accidentally choose that option. The staff is great. The beds are comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous.

I always stay at Marriott properties. Never anything but great. I stayed in a studio room. Plenty of room. Nice mini kitchen. It was the second time I have stayed there. I would stay there again.

I've stayed at Residence Inn before. This one has smaller suites and seems to be older. Of course its payed for. I would not pay the price on vacation. I prefer a condo on the water.

The facilities and rooms are all clean.

The staff greets you with warm smiles and they’re helpful.

The wifi is good, and there’s an option to upgrade for faster internet. We found that the free version was just as fast as the $5 express wifi at about 15Mbps.

The breakfast was awesome! They had a breakfast buffet filled with a bunch of breakfast items like eggs, sausage patties, homestyle potatoes, an adorable waffle machine that makes cute little waffles in 2 minutes with a bunch of toppings for it, yum! A little cereal bar, different drinks, bagels, granola, yogurt, and some more.

We were also upgraded from a one bedroom to a 2 bedroom suite as well, so an excellent start!

We stayed at this hotel last week and were pleased to see it was well maintained. The rooms are large and fairly quiet. Ask for a room in the back. The breakfast was good but had no plain or Greek yogurt. The hotel entrance lacks an overhang that you can drive under to load and unload in the rain. Also, fitness room is small and lacks any weights or weight lifting equipment.

This place has really gone downhill. Been staying here for years and my husband and I went over the weekend, there was a foul smell in the room and just run down overall. We did request another room but they were booked so no other rooms were available. Door was broke, kitchen cabinet was off the hinges. Definitely not worth the money or time anymore. Very disappointing.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. This hotel is exactly what a Marriott property should be, and I'll definitely stay here again soon!

Clean rooms, as long as u don't need first floor! Gm is a wonderful person and very accommodating

Very clean and lovely place. The rooms are not as spacious as other places I've been to, but they use the space well. Our bathroom door would not close, but other than that the room was nice. Mini-kitchen inside our king bed room and pull out couch bed (full). They have a basketball hoop (boys loved it!), pool, gym, and free breakfast. The breakfast didn't have a wide selection, but it was ok.

This was amazing.the front desk was amazing from start to finish great area a publix across the street.the room was so nice and had a lot of space.the pool is amazing as well

Waited 1 hour to try make this reservation and now 1 hour on hold again to get my money back. I just hung up.
They say "pet friendly" but don't tell you its an extra $150.00 for 1 night. This animal is a service dog. And now I can't get my deposit back of $200.00 even though last night while I was there at 1: 00 AM, they told me everything was cancelled and I left and drove all the way home (a 3 night stay was booked). I was never informed until I arrived to hotel, at 1oclock in the morning, nor does it show on expedia that the pet fee was as much as the room. If I was going to pay over $300.00 USD it wouldnt be a 3 star hotel nowhere near walking distance to the beach. Lots of hotels oceanfront for that price, including one of there other hotels! Really?

Could not have been happier with my stay here! The room was spotless and contained everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. All of the staff members were friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast options each morning were outstanding. I will absolutely be back!

As far as residence inns go, just not my favorite. Very limited parking, but very safe parking lot, nice staff, and of course the cleanliness you can always expect from this chain

The room i was in was very clean. The staff here was amazing. Kind. I felt very comfortable here. As if I was at home. Love it

The best! We stayed here for about 3 nights for a birthday, and it was so clean. Pool was nice, but another guest went in coughing and sneazying so we got out. They have a cute are in front of the pool where you can go relax an eat something. Manager at the Front desk help us with the breakfast, he was so awesome! Cheers to you. They offered us a space to keep our bicycles since we have been riding it from Miami, but we kept them in our room. But, thank you, it was the only place where they offer it. And the kitchen was so clean.

Stayed the weekend, enjoyed the kitchen and how the bedroom was in a different room. Was perfect for 2 nights.
