A stay that started out a little Rocky was made right by a wonderful staff, especially Kim who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great.

The hotel room was average, however Kimberly and Fernando made our stay wonderful. Their warm charming personality was outstanding and made our stay extremly comforting. Thank you Kimberly and Fernando for going out of your way to make our family vacation so pleasant. Wishing you and your staff a very Happy / Healthy New Year!

Cheers
Gary

One of the best experiences I have ever had at a Marriott. Great focus on guests. My kids were won over by the pool and hot tub and my wife and I enjoyed interacting with the staff. LOTS of Marriotts in the area. This is the one we will be coming back to in the future. Thanks for the great stay!

During our recent stay, the best part was waking up to breakfast overseen by Iroda. There were lots of great options, the dining hall was clean and everything was fresh! My family and I were satisfied with our meals and there was enough for every family. There were even treats to enjoy throughout the day during the holiday season! I would highly recommend this residence for anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal and a comfortable atmosphere!

Room was only negative, mold on ceiling in a multi room suite where we stayed for 3 days. Everything was nice. Hotel Mgr is great and hosts events every afternoon.

Spent the Thanksgiving holiday there. The presentation was good, but that's about it. There was an awful stench through the halls the whole time, all 6 floors had a rotten food/mildew-like odor. The breakfast was always cold so I ended up just eating out. Then on my second day, I notice roaches crawling in the sink. I didn't even bring food back to this hotel.

The pool was heated, but the hot tub wasn't. I'm not going to fault them for that because things break down, but combined with the other issues, I didn't have a good time here.

Had a great experience, kitchen chief “Iroda” are amazing worker breakfast was the best out of all the hotels i have ever visited. She always make sure that everyone is full and got what they came for. All the people I witnessed leaving a breakfast room were happy and very satisfied which is rare scene.
People that loves breakfast and coffee I highly recommended to visit this residence.

I enjoyed my stay, everything was clean and nice. I gave a four star because employees kept trying to talk to my family while we were eating our breakfast. Although they were kind, we just wanted to enjoy our meal. We had just woken up and we’re very tired And not in the mood for conversation.

This place was the worst place I have ever stayed. Should be a pay by the hour spot. Had no choice after here but to stay we had 7 people in our party and everyone was booked. The rooms were disgusting, mold in windowsills and on carpet, paint peeling off wall as and doors, literal trash food and socks etc left around edges of beds from the last people i assume. Dirty towels in room, the fold out couch was so nasty we couldn’t use it food in it and hair and dirt. The “crib” was a nasty 50 year old pack n play that kept collapsing. The shower on one room ran the whole time we stayed. Smelled moist and moldy on the room. Spiders kept crawling out of the corner of one of the bathrooms. And I could go on. They were no help and offered one night refund. I spent 2000 to stay at this nasty place and paid 5 dollars a pop for a juice for my grandbaby. I do not recommend this place at all! Would have rather slept in car.

The room was booked as a two bedroom suite and it was given to someone else stating they oversold a room. It was reserved in advance. We traveled for 10 hours only to be disappointed with the room accommodations. As a long standing customer I expected better.

The staff and decor/design makeup for the shoddy retrofit / rehab of this hotel. Although the new decor and fixtures are beautiful, the locations where old fixtures were removed from walls and doors were not properly sanded and painted over, so the changes are very conspicuous. Also, the rooms are very small, the wifi is quite slow (I had to use my hotspot), and the furniture upholstery needs steam cleaning (if you lay on the sofa, the smell is horrid).

That being said, the hotel is well-designed, the staff are wonderful, and the breakfast has many options (and dietary alternatives, including oat milk, gluten free pastries, etc).

The hotel requires a parking pass hung in the front of your car window. The gym has apples and oranges wrapped individually in Saran Wrap. The lobby has tea, coffee, and fruit-infused water all day. I’ve included photos of the breakfast area and the breakfast options.

The hotel isn’t perfect but I did enjoy my stay.

A great location. We checked in as our flights home were cancelled by hurricane Ian. The hotel and staff were really helpful. The breakfast and gym are very good. Pool area also. Rooms really quiet too. Can’t find any fault. Highly recommended

I have been a raving fan of Marriott for many years, but I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. I have a reservation there for an employee who is staying there next month, and I called to receive a credit card authorization form to prepay for the stay as I have done many times with Marriott. I spoke with M_n, who asked me for the reservation number, how to spell the company name, and my email address (which is typical). After putting me on hold several times, to confirm with her manager, she came back after 15 minutes to tell me that they no longer accept credit card authorization. I asked how I could pay in advance for my team member. She said I could only send a check two weeks in advance to do so. (In the year 2022!) I explained that I just finished doing a credit card authorization at another Marriott property and I've been doing this for years for company travel. She explained that she was just telling me what the manager told her and asked if I would like to speak with the manager. I replied, "yes. " She transferred me to the manager but then the call went to the manager's voice mail. I called back to let M_n know that she transferred me to the manager's voicemail (who she had just been speaking with) and M_n replied that the manager was busy on another call. I asked her why she asked me if I would like to speak with a manager if she was going to transfer me to voice mail. I explained to her that this is too much friction to simply pay for a hotel stay and she replied that she was "just telling (me) what the manager said. "
This is not the way to do business or treat a customer especially when I'm simply trying to pay you to do business with you. It was apparent that my concern was not important.
(I did not place the employees whole first name in this review out of consideration, and in hopes for better business practices and customer service)

We came here from Tampa for hurricane Ian evacuation. We appreciated the friendliness of the front desk and we were also thankful for their flexibility with our check in and out times. We also enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. The hotel is a bit dated, but that is to be expected given the price point. If you want something super fancy you don’t go to a Residence Inn… you go to a resort and pay 3 times as much. Before you complain about a squeaky door or a little stain, understand that some people just lost everything… including some of the people staying in the hotel at the same time as us. The hotel provided us with a safe place to go, electricity and all the other things some can only dream of right now including a comfy bed. This is also a good location close to lots of stores and restaurants.

Residence Inn had everything I wanted in a hotel: Swimming Pool, Free Breakfast, Pet Friendly Rooms, Close to Universal, and a Fitness Room. If I could improve on anything it would be the housekeeping in the halls, maintaining open and attractive pool area and the addition of cost effective snacks or vending machines. For the cost this place was great! I'd definitely come again. And so would my pooch.

The reviews of this hotel were fairly accurate. The room I stayed in was quite dated… dents in the fridge, chips out of the flooring and the furniture was quite broken in. The AC unit in my room seemed to have been bolted directly to the wall as when it kicked on, it vibrated the whole room. My in room coffee machine had no pot, called for a replacement… never came. I was here for a very full conference so no other rooms were available to move to… or I would have at least tried another room.

That said, the breakfast was good… the bed wasn’t too bad (no bugs people), the shower was hot and staff were friendly. Would I stay here again, no. But it did give me a place closeish to the convention center (about 15 min nice sidewalk walk to the center).

The room was large and stank. The A/C had to be kept in the low 60's to keep it running in order to keep the smell gone. Poor water pressure in the shower and at times there was no hot water. Towels were washed but stained and the TV is poor quality. The fold out couch bed was nasty! The building appears to be older and only moderately maintained. Breakfast was not that great.

I am a Marriott Ambassador (which means i practically live in a Marriott all year round) I have stayed at this property several times per year for years. THIS time, i looked out my window and notice the windows are COVERED in MOLD. Not just a little, but an absolutely unacceptable amount. I honestly have never been so disguised in my life, that the Marriott has continued to let this happen and done NOTHING about it. The damage that that MOLD can do to more guest is even more concerning. This needs to be fixed and trust me i am bringing this up the chain at Marriott, and as an ambassador i guarentee they will Listen. I was supposed to go back to that exact hotel next week and i cancelled it and will NEVER stay there or put my staff up in that hotel EVER again.
