Another excellent meal at BT. Truly exceptional flavors, cooking and service. Main courses are always special, the drinks and dessert make the meal unforgettable. Come here for a special occasion, you can't go wrong!

Why is it EVERYTIME I call to make a reservation that lady acts like she cannot hear me. I wanted to make 2 reservations for a party of 25 but I gave up. Plenty of other restaurants who want business.

Details and food were lovely. Very beautiful presentation with edible flowers which was nice. Service was scattered throughout different staff. It was a birthday and they didn’t even acknowledge it after booking that in the reso. Very disappointing bc I was looking to book for my husbands birthday but if they can’t even acknowledge a birthday on the day, why would we plan a tasting menu for him, Too bad. They lost a few guests.
Update: I was throwing up all night. Must have been the fish. Changing my stars to one after that experience.

Totally disappointed, you have better option.

TUNA TÁI CHANH
Tuna Tatare - Dont have any toro part but only akami on it, akami gives the texture but not the flavour, also it is not a good quality akami. Plus too much sesame oil that covers all layers from other ingredients except fried shallot. Terrible seasoning and cheap akami.

BÒ TÁI CHANH
Beef Tartare - as I know tartare should be hand-chopped, but they serve the grounded one, it more like a beef paste, no texture, no flavour. Beef paste with peanut makes the whole texture weird. The worsest beef tartare ever.

DUCK – DUCK – GOOSE
Foie gras was undercooked, whole piece was still very soft and bloody inside, not cooked-pink. From the surface, there is no sign of "Seared", appearently the oil tempature is not high enough when they cook it.
Duck confit - similar problem, low oil tempatrue cause the skin was soft and very oily, plus they did not cook it with duck fat. Duck should have rich flaour and this one does not taste like a duck at all, more like cheap microwaved duck leg.
Applewood smoked duck risotto - There is NO applewood smoked duck only risotto with ginger, if you called it risotto. Its more like very thick congee because it was over-cooked and over-stired that you can see most of the rice was crushed. Totally disrespect to the customer when a fine dinning place serve bad qulity food like this.

I felt luck that we dont eat much. Because of the quality of food, we couldnt even finish two appetizers and one main dish. If you want to try some really good restaurant, welcome to ask.

My first visit. Weekday evening, special dinner. From walking in to leaving, the experience was top notch. Upon entering, we were greeted and our reservation was verified. I honestly had a relaxing vibe, almost like a spa. We had appetizers of lobster fresh rolls. So unique and delicious. Had several entrees, and the quality and tastes were perfect. So balanced, with no additional seasoning needed at the table. Deserts were unique, and also delicious. If you need a recommendation, the banana pudding is stellar. Diverse wines are also available, with some of the most accessible pricing I've seen in fine dining.

I just don't understand why people fight to get into restaurants that are so very clearly inferior to this one, when they have availability here.
This is a fantastic place. Please stop eating standard steak and pasta every night. Come here and expand your flavor palate with a mix of Vietnamese and French cuisine. Share everything so you can really appreciate the offerings.
And the decor is lovely. We sat on the back patio surrounded by orchids, bamboo and water features.
Service was impeccable.

Signed up for the tasting menu with wine tasting. Great experience with excellent food. Everyone was well versed in the food and techniques used. One of the best meals in Tampa. Will be back for food, service and experience

I didn't like decorations with this kind price should be more high level. The foods ate nothing special only difference was decorations. The only I liked rice which I never tried before.

I recently tried the Vietnamese restaurant BT, and let's just say, it wasn't pho-nomenal. While the dishes smelled great, they lacked the authentic taste I was expecting. It felt like the chef got so caught up in the smell-good game that they forgot to balance the flavors. The flavors were bland and didn't satisfy my cravings for the bold, tangy, and savory tastes that I was expecting from Vietnamese cuisine. The dishes were a far cry from what I had hoped for and left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. And to add insult to injury, the prices at BT were sky-high for the lackluster quality of food. The decor was also lacking, which made for an uninviting ambiance. Save your dong and go somewhere else for authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

This is a top three restaurant in Tampa. The French Vietnamese food here is extraordinarily well prepared. The service is courteous and very professional. Restaurant BT has an upscale refined ambiance. Go out of your way to come here.

Amazing food (Vietnam/French/Japanese fusion) and a quiet atmosphere (both indoors and in the outdoor garden) which is an appreciated change from the mostly overly loud restaurant venues in Florida. Better than many many Michelin level restaurants that are at much higher price points across the US.

By far our favorite restaurant in Tampa when we visit.

Probably the best traditional restaurant in Tampa. Very relaxed atmosphere for a place with approaching michelin-star cuisine. Beautiful fusion of Vietnamese and traditional french cooking techniques and dishes.

Truly one of the gems of Tampa Bay; a fine dining experience without the pomp and circumstance.

This snapper à la Sài Gòn was impeccably prepared and presented. The whole meal was superb with great apps, mains and service.

Wow. What an amazing experience! Great food, great service, great ambiance. Right from the beginning, our servers made us feel so welcome and appreciated. While the dining room was small, it felt intimate and romantic with the dim, warm lighting and thoughtful decor. Per our servers’ recommendations, we ordered the crab rolls and escargot as appetizers, the burrata salad, and the stuffed squid rolls and chicken special as entrees to share. Every bite was delicious and each plate came with an abundance of fresh herbs and micro greens straight from their on-site garden. Everything was so fresh and delightful (we ate everything on each plate including the herbs!) To finish it off, we ordered the ginger creme brûlée which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.

Restaurant BT is such a special and unique experience and is truly a gem of the Tampa dining scene. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
