Restaurant El Mesquite reviews
15If you're headed to the east coast and need some take out for the road, this is such a great option! We had the tacos and enchiladas, SO flavorful and hearty! Be sure to ask for the hot sauce too, so legit
Very nice little place, food was great, waitress was very attentive. Small place but go on in, it was nice
Small menu. Expected more of a authentic Mexican restaurant but was mostly tacos, nachos and quesadillas. They did have tortas and some specials but menu selection was small.
Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Carne Asada, and it looked different than I was expecting. The thin, flavorful steak was on the bottom, then onions, two slices of warm avocado and two slightly grilled jalapeño halves. A sausage was on top. Different and delicious! I was totally satisfied and also could take a portion home. I'll definitely return!
First time here and probably some of the best fajitas, burrito and a chicken chimichanga we have ever had anywhere, will definitely be making this one of my go to spots when I’m in the area.
Absolutely loved the gordita I got but was envious of how good my wife's quesadilla was! 1000% ordering a quesadilla because they are out of this world!
Great little spot for Mexican cuisine that has friendly service and people who actually care at a restaurant.
Personally I love the Torta as well as the tacos.
A nice little hole in the wall spot that a friend introduced me to. Glad that he did because I wasn't disappointed. Funny though that I got a burger at a mex joint but the menu really wasn't laid out in a typical fashion and this was easiest to order. I'd suggest they lay out some lunch specials to simplify ordering. Regardless the burger was good and the tater tots that came with it were a welcome change. I'd easily come back here when in the area.
Before I became a OTR truck driver, I used to stop here on Sundays to eat dinner with my parents on our way back home to Sebring. Food is beyond great, the waitress is very friendly, and has a very at-home feel. A real hidden gem in central Florida.
Very slow service. One waitress working. Food was cold half of it missing and not taken off the bill.
If your non Hispanic hard to get waited on.
Every meal is absolute delicious and very filling! Service is great and they’re very attentive. Great prices, amazing food.
This is a simple small town diner with excellent food. I recommend the fajitas. They come hot and sizzling. This place still has free chips and salsa while you wait. The salsa is the good green stuff. Not the tomato based.
The food was great and the prices were also very reasonable. The breakfast burrito with chicharron was the best breakfast burrito ever. We went again for lunch and I had the steak burrito it was very large and tastes great.
Excellent service, the food was seasonally good and the service was very fast. I recommend it.
Very good food. Takes a little while since everything is made to order. The only thing I would critique is there is no alcohol. It's hard to have Mexican food without margaritas but they'll get there.
