Restaurante El Bodegon, West Palm Beach FL

Organized, delicious, good bakery but certain foods do not really taste authentic. Like the Creole steak, in Colombia it is normally overbelly a la criolla and in stew it is more abundant and richer. But the beans tasted good and everything. I hope they add Marranitas to the cravings menu.

Bad customer service. We went there to eat some empanadas and one of the waitress came up to our table to tell us we cannot eat inside, that if we wanted to we had to go outside and eat them, since according to that waitress, it’s a cafeteria policy. Y’all gotta be careful when coming to this location since these waitresses are rude and disrespectful.

Rice and beans tasted bland. I ordered the pork chops to be fried. They did not fried them, they were broiled but tasted good. The empanadas although micro small, are very tasty.

The server was busy but attentive. I tipped her 30%. She was glad. Chances are that I am not returning. It was my first time btw!

I used to be fascinated by going to buy meat empanadas at bodegón restaurant #1, they were delicious, I could say the best in my area, but they changed the recipe of the dough or flour with which they were made and now they are hard and inedible, it was a 360 degree change in quality, it makes me very sad because before they were delicious and now I don't recommend them to anyone.

The worst service. They don't bring your food on time, they don't apologize. I don't recommend it at all.

Why have the empanadas deteriorated so much? Wow today May 28,2023 I bought empanadas at the bodegón on jog road with foreshill and they are completely different, the dough was all ugly, medium raw and soft, nothing to do with the ones that used to be super crispy, now the dough is super thick

The waiter, server was great and super efficient, he make us feel happy with the service. Food excellent, just right and fresh. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet.

This is my favorite Bodegon restaurant. I have another Bodegón closer, but I prefer to drive further to come here. The service is always good. They serve you with great pleasure. They make you feel welcome. And the food here is better too. It has a fresher flavor.especially the best Bodegón in the area.

The place looks clean, at least the one on Forest Hill, now a question, why is it so cold there? I can't stay looking at what to buy, I leave quickly because the air conditioning is on full. Too cold for me! The people there, if you look, are all covered!
The automatic checkout has a very particular and loud voice which when you pass the merchandise, that voice says what you are buying! That is, zero privacy! It tells you everything to do as if you were illiterate, pass the merchandise.now it says an onion, a lettuce, then it says, put the merchandise in the bag, now pay, remove the products from the table. I need to say leave quickly. I don't know. I don't like anything there and when you leave they ask for the receipt to verify, are they treating us like thieves?

Food was delicious, service was great and the place was spacious and clean. Would definitely eat there again.

Information, it's really sad that such a busy place doesn't realize it or maybe they haven't told you, on several occasions I have gone to buy empanadas and cheese fingers and they are raw inside, they lost the quality, I don't know Yes, they changed the cook, but something is happening, I don't recommend them.

Great place, great food, slightly crowded and the food takes a while but still a good place to sit down and eat or take stuff on the go.

The lack of flavor on the food and the robot like service made my experience not a good one. I'm sure they'll be someone that can disagree with me on this one time experience but it didn't do it for me this time.

I recommend this place not only for its quality of food, cleanliness, good service and kindness of all its employees.

It is a little corner of Colombia. The food is spectacular and more than enough. Spectacular!
