Finally a true Mexican restaurant!
Quesadillas hutlacoche, sucuash blossoms are TDF. Tamales for breakfast made every day, tlacoyos, sopes, enchiladas, enmoladas. All is great.
Service is lovely. Since they make things from scratch you need to wait a little bit.
Trust me, I prefer that instead of eating the same processed food that you usually get in basically all type of restaurants.
It's my new regular spot and I have to travel 35/40 minutes to get there with no traffic. It's worth the drive. Que viva Oaxaca!

PS.: they bring the check in the cutest mini hand made bag.

Soo, Food was good, although they messed up two of our plates. But service was terrible! Food took more then 45mins to come out, while the place was completely empty! Then we received the check, and shorty caught an attitude because we asked to explain the bill. Then charges us extra because they round up? Whattt? I mean yea it was a small amount but still who does that? Not returning!

Ordered 4 different plates. Burrito, Quesadilla, and 2 Sandwiches. One half of the burrito was cold, the quesadilla was cold, one of the sandwiches was incorrect completely. The other sandwich had spices (jalapeños) even though we told them no spicy. There was literally 6 other people in this restaurant, yet food took 45m+ in order for it to be cold. They do round up without asking which is a lil sleezy. I know it could be 50c or what not but usually places ask first before they just assume, and then get confrontational when asked about it.

Las Chonitas is authentic Oaxaca Mexican food Delicious, clean and friendly staff will come again.

Ordered three shrimp tacos got 2 and 1 empty one. Will never order from there again refused to give me the third taco Said they would call back never did. Never apologized and claimed that the image shows 3 full tacos. You all can see for yourself. Worst service ever dont waste your time.

Quesadilla was good, enchiladas were dry and the tortilla just melted in the sauce, ‍️ salsa was good. Customer service. The place is clean and decorated according to the restaurant theme. Parking lot is small and usually is always full.

Today my sisters kids got nuggets and the chicken was raw and stiff how your going to tell me the lady that's doing the food not see that they were not fully cooked please check your food and they still made us pay for it and we didn't eat any of it

I'm rating 5 stars verbally because my burrito was very good. Usually, the meat is bland and or over/undercooked and camouflaged by the toppings. I can honestly say that the steak meat inside my burrito was seasoned and cooked to perfection, plus it was hugh. I had to eat the other half the next day. Yes, it was still good! What I had a problem with was none of the waitresses spoke English. That led me to believe that they never expect for English speaking people to visit their establishment. The cook had to come from the back to take my order. This is why I gave them 2 stars. SMH.

You know the food is going to be authentic and great when you walk through the door and feel you have stepped into another country. The flavor was delicious not over spiced. We had the fajitas mixed meats it was just a tiny bit dry but oh so good. I haven't had horchata in a while so I was pleased they had it. Highly recommend.

This restaurant need improvement abouth costumer service as an emergency the food is just ok but the table served is to nasty she was cleaning bathrooms at the same time we was weighting the food so my husband went to serve our plates because we don't wanna her touch them and she close the restaurant early but i guess she was and a hurry getting ready to leave we don't recommend the restaurant and we never go back
